While it is sad, it is comforting to know that some can still do the ultimate selfless act. I could only hope to do so. Faith in humanity restored.

I salute you.

This guy was a true hero. Brought tears to my eyes thinking about someone doing this for his fellow classmates.

He deserves all the honors that can be given.

What the heck compels a human being to commit such an atrocity to a school of young children? Hopefully this enrages the locals of that region to oust the organization responsible.

RIP to Aitzaz. You sir deserve the highest honor.

A true hero. Rest in peace.

I do wonder: did the kids just spot the suicide bomber from a distance or something? So he ran at the bomber or something? I can't figure out the circumstance.

A real human being and...

"My son made his mother cry, but saved hundreds of mothers from crying for their children," Mujahid Ali, Aitzaz's father is quoted as saying.
That part got me.... RIP Aitzaz *salute*

Nobody ruins my family vacation but me...and maybe the boy!
Read about this kid this morning.

He's a true hero in every sense of the word.

Sad thing is this is just one of the many suicide bombers(most of them Saudi funded) targeting Shias in Pakistan.

I know I couldn't have done that were I in his shoes. You will be remembered, Aitzaz Hasan.

Came in to echo what everyone else is saying...that kid was definitely a hero. Wow. Sad that he lost his life.

Damn R.I.P tried putting myself in his shoes and I don't think I could do what he have done to be honest. My ass would probably run the other damn way unless my family were in danger. Then all bets are off.

'I'm going to stop him. He is going to school to kill my friends'

It takes so much incredible bravery to make such a decision and act on it. I don't care how many times its been said already in this thread, but this kid is a god damn true hero.

/salute

They don't like education and what it brings to a society?

Anyway, I can't imagine ever I'd ever be capable doing something like this. It just goes against every human instinct to run towards to what is certain death and yet this kid just shrugged it off and tackled the bomber.

Amazing stuff, Im not sure I would do the same under those circumstances.

Edit: I always found a bit silly that people use fictional characters to reference real heroes.

This gave me chills:

Truly brave. A hero.

How exactly is bombing other Muslims part of this jihad? Just curious what kind of shit they are being fed to get talked into doing this. I can at least wrap my head around American targets.
