People really have the wrong idea if they think the review process is starting at 10 and then going, "oh it's not on a handheld, it's only a 9".
I appreciate greatly that Gravity Rush 2 is on PS4 since the expanded scope is marvelous for the game, but you can tell the series is sticking to its handheld routes from a game design and flow perspective - it's mission-based which tends to work better in chunks rather than long, intense sessions.
Considering a lot of people played Persona 3 and 4 on handhelds, including this reviewer, and thus have that as a point of reference, it's completely reasonable for people to have their own conclusions regarding how each format works best with the series's pacing. It's missing the forest for the trees to say it's simply "I wish this game was on different hardware" when the criticism is specifically regarding the game's pacing and flow, and how it gels with the expected playstyle it demands.
Trying to drag them because of alleged Nintendo bias though is just weak all-around. especially when this reviewer specifically mentions having played Persona 4 on Vita. Why does it matter?
