Otherwise, this is a pretty good list of albums. Lots of great stuff here.

Great top 10, and for once I actually know 4 of the albums in it!

Hope Amazon sees this and drops the price on some of the albums I want but don't own yet from this list!

I don't agree with Grimes' album being that high. It's awesome don't get me wrong, but 6?

Yeah, I like Grimes, but that would be the one album in the top 10 I would take out. (Not that the others will necessarily make my list).

Jessie Ware disserved so much better. And Miguel what the fuck? Nice to see El-P on there, and TNGHT. I wish DIIV and LMNOP times Tree were higher.

I love Channel Orange, I'm surprised at Fiona Apple being so high. Solid album though.

Kindred should be higher given it was left off the top 100 tracks lists completely...

While I don't agree with any of the top 3 choices, certainly Frank Ocean ought to have won top honors if they were going in that direction. I actually think GKMC is an outright bad album, one of the worst I've listened to all year. No, this isn't blatant trolling or an attempt at incensing the entire board. I genuinely, thoroughly dislike Kendrick's album this year (after really liking Section.80).

A pretty banal, predictable list through and through. Some pretty glaring omissions (not giving Perfume Genius any love whatsoever is a goddamn farce). It's been a year of bad best-of lists, so I'm not as intellectually insulted by P4K's year-end list as I normally would be.

From what I've seen, theneedledrop probably has the best 2012 album list.

Opinions and all that. I can understand not liking it, but calling it straight bad is about a wrong as opinion as they come. Don't know how you like section.80 and hate GKMC. You may prefer one, but Kendrick hasn't changed THAT much. If anything he got better in terms of flow and songwriting.

In other news the rap picks strangely correlate to my personal ones in the order they appear in.. sorta.
