Had an interesting battle last night.
It was at Seabed Listening Post on Indar, and the NC must have had a platoon held up tight in it. We (VS) were coming from the base north of it (Danaka Amp), and our 1st major push was killed by dozens of phoenix's (truly, my first experience of "hmm, that weapon kind of broke the game"). So, we kept trying to creep Sundy's around the edges of this base, without alot of luck. We even tried attacking from the station to the west (Indar Comm Array) as it's got the higher ground, but it didn't go well either.
Phoenix's in open air are unstoppable, as I've yet to pump enough rounds into it (as it's flying to give me the gift of death), to destroy one.
We finally start hitting from all of these sides, long enough to sneak in a sundy behind this rock (the larger Purple blob), that had an angle the phoenix's couldn't hit, and starting to take over the base.
Until the TR showed up in a swarm of mosses, blew up the Sundy, and that was that.
I am getting tired of AT not putting enough weight into having a solid air cav group. Most fights we get into, will be infantry and armor.
Oh wells. An hour and a half later, we captured Seabed Listening Post (because everyone had left) Truly, a VS move!
