Pokémon Sun & Moon |OT| Ultra Beasts and where to find them

Decidueye stats are fine. It's not the offensive fast mon everyone expected it to be, but its fine for what it seems to do best; supporting and trapping.

For an in-game playthrough they will all be fine. There are a lot of water Pokemon to choose from in-game, but the starter has excellent stats and typing. If you want to choose the owl, go ahead. It has great typing and strong attacks.

Okay! So I've got Sun and both of my kids each have Moon. They wanted me to see if I can get them all 3 starters while they're at school. Best options??

Fun reminder: You can level up your Poke Finder to level 3 easily using the hole in the wall and the beach area. At level three, you have two upgrades in zoom. There is also a level four, but getting it isn't going to be quick it seems.

Outside from asking for eggs from people who've gotten that far, only option would be to restart the two Moon versions multiple times and trade the two starters over to Sun, then trade them back on the third go.

That could take a while...

Tell your kids not to be so fucking basic and to try to be at least a little more goddamn unique than filling half their party with the three starters.

About 4 hours in. Just met Team Skull for the first time and caught myself a Smeargle c:

Still only using new Pokemon tho. Can't wait to start getting some options instead of having so little to pick from right now.

Oh it's fine, I totally get it.. I was talking more about players father along like I am. Wouldn't be fair to y'all because my team is fully grown.

The online options are kinda weird to use. The menu system is awkward to find what you need. Lol gridlock had to find me

Don't you have Pkhex my man?

With Pkhex all you need to do is soft rest for a female, then transfer and edit your save and change Popplios nature to Modest, give her perfect IV's and if you really want give her 252EV's in HP and SpA and 4EV's in SpD.

Thats what I did anyway lol.

I really wish her HA was officially released though, I've been using it on Showdown and its been a help with Hyper Voice, but for cartridge PvP purposes I'm stuck with fucking Torrent. GameFreak pls.

I tried to tell them that. So the good thing is both of my boys want different starters. So I'll pick the one they don't want. Start all three games over and over until we get 3 females. Can I save righ before picking my starter? I'm curious if I'll need to start the whole game over in order for a chance at a female.

I haven't tried it myself, won't be able to play until I get off in about 6 hours, but from what I understand you can do this. There's a cutscene that ends with you standing on a bridge, save RIGHT after that. That's what I've been told, at least.
 
Aaaaaaargh why isn't my game here yet?!

Amazon has always come through for me but today they're 2 hours late. It should have been on my mailbox around 9am with all of my other mail :(
 
So anyone tell me without spoilering too much...is the world bigger than it seems or is it a tiny world because it kinda looks tiny.
 
Can anything besides Greninja be transferred from the demo?

I don't have the game until after work, but I will be finishing the demo stuff on my commute.

Yeah I figured I'd rather have a modern RPG for a modern console than a classic RPG for an old console. Now I'm just holding out for a hypothetical 3DS remake that will likely never happen, I still have my SNES copy too, so I'll probably just fire up the backup of that if I want to play that amazing classic again
