I've played a bit of Garchomp. I feel that dig brings you a set distance to the opponent. It can be canceled with R or a jump before they reach them though. If you are too far away it won't be able to reach. Feels really nice to hit and can be great for ducking projectiles. Although it does is pretty unsafe and if it's blocked you'll be getting hit pretty bad.Peléo;198603757 said:To anyone playing with Garchop, cand you describe how the dig move works? Also, how does it fell while using it? And how useful is it so far?
I wonder who's idea that was? I've never seen it in one of Namco's other fighters though I do really like that most have demos of each move built-in to the move list so you know what each move is supposed to do.The move list telling you what everything is for feels weird for how novel it is. Why is this the first time I've ever seen this? Also having some starter combos listed as well
Yes, DoA is a good example of how to handle stage hazards IMO (at least dimensions was, I haven't played any of the console versions since 3).Stuff like Dead or Alive, basically. The stages are dynamic and fun. Comboing into stage hazards is friggin awesome.
...Except those water and ice stages. Low kicks for days.
Thank goodness. The stream I was watching didnt have her off and she seriously doesnt ever stop talking.
I don't think it would bother me that much if her VA wasn't horribly grating
The VA in this game in general seems TERRIBLE

For someone like me who has only enjoyed the fighting series Tekken and SF4 over the last 10 years, do you think this is a must buy?

They probably put more money into any one of the stage compositions then the entire english VA budget.
Most will turn it off anyway, but its still downright embarrassing.
I'm really digging him, actually. Those videos make it look like Sceptile suuuuuucks!
whoa, on the training mode you can press ZR or ZL to inmediatly alternate between Phases
English VA was likely rushed. It's probably why the Pokemon voices are the Japanese ones, which in this case was probably for the better.
So I just realized that my Pokken controller never shipped which kind of sucks but at the same time realized that when I ordered it Amazon had it priced at $25 instead of $50 :3

I'm not sure they're all Japanese voices. Sceptile and Blaziken, for example, sound an awful lot like the ORAS animated commercial.
Mewtwo doesn't use any sort of anime voice either. If he did, he'd sound like Smash Bros, but he's got a weird sort of young sounding voice.
Yeesh, they pulled more than just the wisdom teeth? That's rough. My copy came, but I'm recovering from having 6 teeth pulled (4 wisdom teeth, two others).
Well I mean that none of them were dubbed over. You can tell by comparing the voices with arcade gameplay and trailers.
Did you choose the Hori pad as your battle controller? To make sure you did, go back to the title screen and enter the game again, using only the hori pad this time. Can anyone tell me why my hori pokken pad works throughout the game, but when I get to character select, only the wii u gamepad works and I can only pause with the hori pad during game and thats it?

It sucks that I'm broke. I want this game so bad!
Freaking mailman is taking forever to bring my copy
