If Republicans find this so egregious, they are free to change the rules back when they do return to the Senate majority. We'll have to remind them of that when they do.
Love this from DailyKos:
Make it so!!!
Sadly, Obama has not shown much interest during his presidency in appointing judges. Let's hope that changes.
Can we get a quote on here for people at work whose twitters are blocked?
Sen. McConnell spokesman: "I'm looking forward to President Rubio stacking the courts."
@daveweigel: Sessions on Reid: "He is not a dictator! He does not get to dictate how the rules operate!" Yeah, probably why he changed them w/ 52 votes.
Bow to my wisdom. So how's everyone's crow tasting?
Mine is fucking delicious.

Well, wasn't that mainly cause Republicans would keep blocking them so he didn't see much of a point?
I don't think so. He didn't nominate many when he had the Senate.
@brianbeutler: So weird to read this sentence like we're a democracy or something RT @AJentleson Coda: Cloture was invoked on the Millett nomination 55-43.
It's happening!
Are federal judges appointed for life?
I hope Obama stacks the courts with gay muslims.
Apparently every district in the country supports ENDA (at least for orientation, data isn't available for gender identity). I had assumed that like a lot of stuff there was broad public support hampered in Congress by shitty safe red districts.
Yes.
Hahahaha. Because bipartisanship in DC is just rosy right now.CNN already saying this will hurt Bipartisanship....
So the Dow closed above 16,000... I'm pleasantly surprised to see how well the #WorstSocialistEver hashtag is doing...

Totally. I can see the headline and a pic of Romney laughing or giving a thumbs upAlternate Headline: President Romney has led the market to getting the DOW over 16,000 roaring back from the Obama economy.

I'm trying to start a hashtag for that: https://twitter.com/search?q=#WhatDoesThisMeanForKayHagan&src=hashWhat does all of this mean for Kay Hagan, though?
I like to think I played a part in this. PoliGAF too.Another thing I keep forgetting to post is that when I saw James Carville on Monday he started making the argument that we should stop worrying about pay off our debt and entitlement reforms and start worrying about fixing our broken infrastructure among other things.
But what most surprised me was just how positive the reaction was from the audience, it probably got the biggest cheers of the night from something that wasn't a joke.
I was just calling the Democrats pussies the other day for talking about the nuclear option but never doing it
THANK YOU BASED JESUS
Is this cabinet and judiciary (except SC) only?

@BradThor, Do you mean again as in after they tried it the first time against African Americans following the Civil War?
Honestly though if someone like Justice Kennedy stepped down, I think the GOP would go insane and refuse to allow someone to the left of him take his place...Yes, thankfully.
