What’s distinctive about both the Sanders and Ron Paul coalitions is that they consist mostly of people who do not feel fully at home in the two-party system but are not part of historically underprivileged groups. On the whole, young voters lack political influence. But a young black voter might feel more comfortable within the Democratic coalition, which black political leaders have embraced, while a young evangelical voter might see herself as part of a wave of religious conservatives who long ago found a place within the GOP.

Bernie will do better among liberal African American voters. Those would be centered in places like NY, California etc. Where he's going to be hurt is among more conservative AA voters, which is pretty much anywhere in the south.

Oh absolutely. I really wish polls broke down age/race better. It seems you get a split by age, and a split by race, with sometimes a split of white voters by age, but you never see stuff like the black vote broken down by age. It would be really interesting to see if it really is just young democrats that love Sanders, or young white democrats that love him.

I would like to see those as well. I think that he'll do better in areas in which ideology trumps other demographics. There are "cultural" differences between southern gays and northern gays, for example. It's a different climate and culture. So, while we're still under the same umbrella, there are real differences there. We approach things differently. I think other minority groups may look like that as well, but I'm definitely not trying to generalize.

you will. 08 had it in exit polls as well as by race with gender. You just won't get race+gender+age like:

I mean, seriously though, what is up with Bernie's campaign doing shit like this? They steal data, but ooops not really. They put people down as foreign policy advisors who he met with once (maybe). They smear anyone and everyone that doesn't need gosh darn Bern cream to make it through they day. They steal the AARP logo to make it look like Bernie was endorsed by them. They pretend to be Union Workers to gain access to places they weren't supposed to be.

...but he's running a nice, clean campaign?! Come on now. Once is an instance, twice is a hobby, half dozen times is a damn addiction. Can anyone even remotely fathom the Reddit Rage if Hillary's people did anything even remotely close to this!?
