uhhhh...wouldn't that void your vote?
In San Diego County, if the machine rejects your ballot due to a procedural issue, it gets sent to a team of people that make corrections if it is 100% clear who the person wanted to vote for.
(For example, if they used a sharpie and it bled over to the back of the ballot). If their state has the same procedure, this would probably qualify.
Slightly diablosing about Michigan
Was there actually a boost in rural white turnout or is that just a meme?
Awesome!
Sidenote: I have been textbanking at one of the campaign offices here in LA and it's always packed. I tried to go back over the weekend and yesterday and there was a line out the door and a long wait list TO VOLUNTEER. People were sitting on the sidewalk phonebanking because the office was too full. Yes, this is in ultra-blue Los Angeles, but I've been consistently seeing posts from friends volunteering in Ohio, PA, NYC that their offices are packed and that there's a wait to volunteer.
I'm fired up!
Also, giant heart eyes to PoliGAF for helping me stay sane throughout the election.
Campaign planners expect a flake rate among those who promise to volunteer. In other words, they expect a certain percentage of people to flake out and not show up. This past weekend, the Obama campaign experienced the opposite: they got a negative flake rate. They got more volunteers showing up than they had planned for.
I saw a Trump sign in my town
I guess MA is going Trump!!!!!!
Apparently, the GOP decided to match Democratic tactics and bus in a bunch of angry white people from across the border in Alberta.
We're fucked.
FUCK
I have gotten roughly 10 texts from Hillary folk in the last day or so for me to get out and vote, 7 of them have been from PA where I was registered to vote in 2012 and the other 3 have been from Mississippi where I am registered now. It's kind of annoying at this point, but it is encouraging to me that they are so persistent.
what is this votecastr shit, is that even remotely reliable?

Did you tell any of them that you have voted? They'll take you off the list at that point.
Lack of Votecastr for North Carolina is killing me.
Even the pet cemetery voted for Hillary!

Yes. Repeatedly.
It was mostly based on that the transit strike in Philly that would make the turnout lower than expected. Also nobody has no clue how much Trump can rack up in the rural areas.
MI will flip at some point in the near future. There are a TON of southern-style racist working class whites in that state.
Obviously fake. Canadians can't get angry

I mean, maybe, but what about PA?
1. I want to look at bars! It's just garbage data, who cares?
You're clearly not familiar with Joey Votto.

Unfortunately your vote only counts if you also cross off the names of all the other candidates.
so he voted for hillary then
Why is Votecastr garbage?
Vice (I believe) was promoting them earlier. They seemed pretty reliable, if only because of the large sample sizes.

I am having heart palpitations. Work is moving too slow. I need results.
