We are in the other timeline.

Wow....

I'm convinced he's sincere too.

Fuck me when Glen fucking Beck has more class then say John McCain or Marco Rubio or any of the other "moderates"

I can't wait to see what Trump does. I'm convinced he cannot exist now without the praise and adulation of his rally crowds, he needs to be out there just riffing in front of people like that.

I'm waiting for his inevitable breakdown when he can't feed his narcissism. Just reading that NY Times article where he won't sleep because he needs constant reassurance from his toadies was delicious. Hair Mouse turned out to be a rather accurate metaphor for his mental state.

Godcohn is running an article about how votecastr is going to nake people hurl tomorrow.

No, it's basically raw, real time unadjusted turnout reads with little context. So basically he said the obama team tried this in 2012 and it made elan kriegel throw up because it showed them losing Ohio all morning.

Considering how bad exit polling was in 2012 when compared to actual voter data accrued after the fact; this is going to probably send Democrats into complete mass panic. Exit polling last time vastly underrated the minority vote IIRC.

Trump's stump speech is basically "man, we're going to kill all of these Syrian children, they will all die. We'll kill them in creative ways too. Maybe drowning, maybe gassing, bunker bombs for sure. They're going to die."

I can't wait until this fucker has to meet his utter humiliation.

I think all these Clinton +4 or +5 polls overestimate third party voters. Those folks are staying home. When they do, she will break 50% and her lead will inflate to +6 or +7.

If this happens then hopefully the Senate candidates also benefit.

Let's be realistic, no matter what initial results look like, Democrats will be in mass panic.

It's going to be a rough day.

Well...this is interesting. Not sure if discussed yet, but GOP probability is surging for retaining the Senate .

I'd trust Upshot more than 538. And they're still above 50% that the Dems win (56% to be exact).

No point in bedwetting right now, but not taking the Senate would be a disaster.

There are 4-5 Senate seats that are on a razor edge. At the end of the day, these will likely lean Democratic due to Hillary's ground game and GOtV.

Can't wait to see what Kayleigh, Lord and the rest say tomorrow.

They won't have meltdowns, they'll play games and say that the movement is bigger than Clinton's but she had better turnout.

Then they'll take off their mics, walk off the set, and into a side hallway, lean against the wall and sob uncontrollably as another false idol has fallen.

Yeah, I'm thinking the Dems will get the senate majority... Go Kander! :D

So are CNN and Fox gonna be talking about votecastr doom and gloom tomorrow? How much coverage did it get last time?

Apparently its only getting reported on Slate and Vice.

edit- from what I understand, newsrooms decision desks generally don't talk with other networks/papers... so as not to come under pressure to call results.

Zero, it's new this year. A whole new set of data to misinterpret and obsess over. So basically cable news catnip

But cable news always had all of this data, they just choose not to report it until polls close. That's the entire point of votecastr. I would not expect things to change (on TV) tomorrow.

Compared to final '12 exit polls (gender percentage adjusted by Upshot):

— 38% DEM, 32% GOP

— 54% women, 46% men

— 61% age 45 or older

So Tuesday should have younger and more unaffiliated voters. That shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

EDIT: Whoops, used the 2008 percentage for age.

OMG. Trump had a really good moment with the fireman helmet.. and then he says it's dirty, it's been used so he's not going wear it.

So I've been watching old concession speeches of elections gone by. John McCain's stands out to me the most. I don't really like him very much but that was a classy speech by him. It recognized the significance of what had just occurred and highlighted the positives that Obama brought to the table. I fear what Trump is gonna say Tuesday night.
