.@NBCNews: Battleground early voting

—Dems lead: FL, IA, MI, NC, NV, OH, VA, WI

—GOP leads: AZ, GA, PA*

—Even in CO

*No-excuse absentee

Some hopium for NC and OH. The only two states I don't have a strong feeling about. Clinton may come close in AZ and GA but unlikely she wins.

Imagine if Trump went out tomorrow night to give an actual concession speech and apologize for the hurtful and divisive rhetoric he's said for the past 17 months.

Like, every talking head on CNN would just have their jaws fully dropped.

Or perhaps disclose that he, Trump, was actually trying to teach America a lesson that a bunch of us are still clinging to crappy, outdated thoughts (kind of like The Third Wave?)

;)

...I'm in no way, shape, or form expecting it,
wouldn't break my heart to be supremely surprised if it happened, though.
It's nice thinking about it though.

It's so surreal to see Obama have to remind younger voters of his talking points from 8 years ago. Like, some of them don't know or remember. For me it was like yesterday.
I still remember being 11 years old and staying up all night to midnight to watch the Daily Show's election night coverage. I can still remember that entire audience screaming "YES WE DID" to the top of their lungs, clear as day.

Shit was beautiful, man.

Trump's concession speech is just going to be a 'Welp I tried guys, but the game was rigged and you know what I mean, you just can't win if it's rigged. Peace out!'

There's no way he's going to be graceful in defeat.

Yep he has been building up to that.

I can't describe how badly I miss Jon Stewart. Like it just hasn't been the same without him.

I bet he blames his supporters for not doing enough and wasted his time and "money"

Im imagining that he does this in an attempt to save face, like "I was trying to teach you a lesson all along!" but then he's such a shitty person that his speech is somehow more offensive than the expected "it's rigged folks, what can I say" would be.

I'm not tuned in to the IN Senate race at all, but has Bayh had any kind of meaningful response to the attacks ads the last couple weeks? All I ever hear is how effective Young/the GOP's ads hitting on Bayh's lobbying past, and highlighting how disconnected he is from the state, have been, but not what Bayh has actually said or done about them in response if anything.

There were reports a couple days ago that Trump wants to win, but also at least wants to beat Romney's EV total. Which makes me think, in the back of his mind, he does realize he's likely to lose.

One more sleep y'all.

Thanks Comey!

Literally all the movement comes from post october 28th

Exactly what was intended, just enough to stop the senate from switching but not enough for trump to win. That is what I feel the intent of the whole thing was and clearing Clinton on Sunday verified it for me. They knew they had nothing new within a day of the announcement from what I've seen but they drew it out through the week of early voting to push the narrative to split tickets so "corrupt" Clinton could be checked by the senate. Honestly it sounds ridiculously conspiracy to me but its really hard to doubt shit like this anymore.

Edit: let me add though that I still think the dems can do it.

Oh yea I forgot about him wanting to beat Romney's EV total. I'm more surprised they don't know how they are going to handle the concession speech. My guess is that Trump veers off and makes it combative.

There's no way he's going to be graceful in defeat.

My prediction is something along these lines:

Railing about how something seems fishy and they're gonna look into it, and experts have told him there are inconsistencies. Also, Paul Ryan is a traitor along with the establishment.

What does 50/50 mean? I guess from your reaction that's good?

It means that the 51st vote comes from the party in control of the white house (The VP).

51 or 52 also provides a little buffer is a Senator can't vote yes on a certain issue. 50 means you need every democrat lined up behind you and means you have to defend even harder in 2018. We are getting 50 imo.

What does 50/50 mean? I guess from your reaction that's good?

50 / 50 means there are 50 Dem (and independents who caucus with us) senators and 50 Republicans. VP Tim Kaine would then be the tie breaker. A month ago it looked like we had a good chance to win the senate and maybe get 52 or so seats but the GOP has come back strong. We have to get 50 or the Republicans will continue blocking the appointment of new federal judges.

I mean it won't happen but I'm not sure the country could handle an "The Aristocrats" type joke from Trump. It would be worse than if he was just being himself this whole time.

"People are saying..."
"Believe me."

Can a GOP senate just never approve Hillary's entire cabinet? Could they delay appointing a Secretary of State for her entire term?

Because I wouldn't put it past them.

I'm telling you guys the NH surge is gonna save the Senate. In a way it's more exciting at 50/50 because it gives Kaine a ton of power
