If memory serves, he has done that numerous times. He even skipped one of their debates, and that was the reason given.

He could be doing a better job of it I feel. It's not something I feel he brings up in the debates.

It's pretty fasinating to me that this Thursday's debate could be the first time Kasich attacks others and/or the first time attacks are aimed at him.

I don't think we'll see much of this, considering Trump already said he's his potential VP.

Kasich wants to win Ohio now then deliver Ohio in the general as the VP.

He has nothing other than Ohio for the nomination so this is an "I should be the VP" effort more than anything else.

Kasich is probably a really good Veep choice. He has Washington experience to balance Trump. He's from a swing state. He doesn't seem batshit crazy. It could work.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
I think the most intriguing aspect of tomorrow night's debate is the crowd and the moderators.

Please tell me "Spineless" Wolf Blitzer won't be involved. That clown let Cruz do basically whatever he wanted.

That makes sense.

Still, Trump doesn't like to lose. He could have let Iowa go, but instead he went nuclear on Cruz leading into that contest and ended up losing anyway.

Then again, a Kasich win keeps him in the race, which keeps the field fractured, which is a scenario that benefits Trump.

At the start of the race, I figured he was actually aiming for VP. Now that he's refused to drop out, I'm not sure what he's doing.

Trump says he wants an established politician, but whoever signs on as his VP is basically ending their career if they lose, right? The party establishment certainly won't want anything to do with them.

I'm using tonight to catch up on sleep. If you'd move all your important stuff to about 3 in the afternoon that'd be grand :p

Sanders will be used in the Fall. I hope he's a team sport if he loses. We need him for the Mid-west and youth support.

Kentucky's local Dems voted in favor of a law that will probably cause a bunch of abortion clinics to close:

http://www.lrc.ky.gov/pubinfo/release.htm#abortion

Encouraging work and will (these fucking guys).

This is the tradeoff they make in a deep Red state in order to keep their power in the state House.

Also, I'm not familiar with the Export-Import bank, but can someone explain to me what's controversial about it?

@SenSanders
If you want taxpayers' money, then you must protect their jobs. Not a radical idea. But that idea has yet to come to the Export-Import Bank.

More representation is seldom a bad thing, and the earlier they start voting the better, and, i'd venture a guess, the more likely they'll be to vote several times.

Heck, you can vote at 16 down here if you want. Only becomes mandatory at 18.
Trump probably would have been considering he buries everyone.

Kasich is more like Daniel Bryan.. Should get a push, but doesn't really.

And you're doing pretty good for not knowing a thing about wrestling.

Tell you what, Trump is Ted DiBiase and yes, Kasich is Virgil.

"Let me be very frank: we have not done well in the Deep South, but it's not surprising,” he said. “The South is a pretty conservative area. I'm not a conservative. But we have already won nine caucuses and primaries – in New England. We've won them in the Midwest. We've won them in the Southwest. And it turns out that the caucuses and primaries that are now coming up in the future are looking pretty good for us."

Trump better be careful to not pick an establishment friendly Veep

the impeachment knives will move quickly to have Donald removed and replaced with that very establishment friendly Veep

Sanders is against it because he says it's corporate welfare for Boeing.

lol what the heck? There is a Kasich town hall on fox news right now. They didn't advertise this at all lol
why would they

who asked for that
All four will be on programs tonight: Rubio and Cruz on Megyn Kelly's show and Trump on Hannity.
There was a piece where the Koch Bros praised him for his stance on the issues either today or yesterday.
The conversation about Boeing made me think about something Hillary said. I'd have to rewatch it, but didn't she say it's okay for the US government to assist US companies because other countries do as well?

There's an old white lady in my office. We are like the only two liberals. She just explained to me in great detail why she is afraid of trump. I realized as a white male this is fun for me. For her she's really afraid. I thought for a second maybe I shouldn't be so enthusiastic.

Nah.

Go trump!!!

Basically that was her reasoning for being for it. Airbus is helped by France.

She tried to focus on Import/Export being good for small business but then Bernie said 2/3 of the money from it goes to Boeing.

Even if you are a Bernie supporter, you shouldn't want him as vp. Better someone who could potentially ascend to the presidency.

dude
he's old af
he aint sticking around for a second term
plus warren is the obvious follow-up

plus that was 95% in jest

Pretty much what scott adams explained, iirc. You've nothing to fear from trump... if you're a white male.

Yea. They were talking about the Import-Export Bank. I should note that FDR created it a year after taking office.

This old PBS article helped me get a handle on it when I looked it up before. It's a few years old but lays out the controversy. Basically they give out loans to entities in other countries in order to purchase American goods at the request of the company selling said good. The issue seems to be large companies like Boeing using it to boost profits by selling more stuff, rather than actually needing the purchases to keep the lights on.

Did you tell her she is a big fat mess and vote Trump so he can make her win so much she will be sick of winning?

-edit- Kasich just said fuck your free college and go to community college if you want cheaper college lol

Boeing uses it partly to offer advance payment to their small business suppliers. IMO exim is good and sanders is again a crone.

For which I recall Anderson Cooper saying he was correct. For a country all about free market capitalism it's sure contradictory to have the government help companies and bail them out if they're too big too fail. I understand the rationale, it just show a huge disconnect, especially from Republicans.

You know what France also does? Provide universal healthcare. Socialism for corporations and capitalism for people.

Agreed. It does a lot of good and even manages to turn a profit, which goes right into the US Treasury.

That's my point, he couldn't run after Hillary finishes her terms, so he's not a good pick for vp. There are people who actually argue for him as vp, so I don't know if you are serious or not.

Also, shouldn't people who aren't white males be afraid of Scott Adams?
