She'll never be delivering the god tier speeches we've seen this week. But this is quite good so far. And more importantly than the rhythm and rhetoric, the message itself is rock solid.

Agree, quite quite good.

I can't wait to see the bounce out of this.

Hillary may not be a great orator. But she's speaking from the heart.

She's telling you exactly who she is.

God bless her.

Right. I really don't like her speaking style, but she's doing what she needs to do.

She's so utterly mediocre at this.
Given her priorities and personality, it's not surprising public, charismatic speaking isn't quite where she excels. Frankly, the more surprising thing is that Barack Obama is so damn good at it. He's a pretty unique concoction.

Whoever came up with the concept of this DNC being about us being together is so fucking smart.
The thematic construction of each day, the flow of speeches, the broad consistency of the messaging, it's all been extremely strong.

"Way too many dreams die in the parking lots of banks."

That's a great line. I could have done without the "Deal me in" line being used again.

The nuclear weapons point feels a little outdated so long after the cold war has finished. It's been so long since nuclear war has felt feasible at all, no matter who has the nuclear codes.

His vindictiveness put behind the FBI/CIA/NSA is a lot more scary.
