Go for it I guess.

If the green tea weirdos want to spend all their effort to try win whatever primary there is to subsequently lose Sessions Alabama seat by like 20 points then more power to them.

Hell yeah. We finally got shinra-bansho's approval.

Socialist america, here we come.

I honestly do think maybe the "why not try" route might be useful going forward, because what else are we going to do in those districts. Hardest part is finding the candidates willing to put the work in to give it an honest shot.

I don't know where there was any implication that #libertarianism!! would be a solution.

Or being completely Republican with a Democratic tag for that matter.
The completely Republican with a Republican tag and all the dogwhistles or overt racism to go with it already have that on lock for Alabama and Tennessee and Kentucky and so forth.

I have no idea why we're once again indulging the fantasy of the secret Democratic voter that comprises the entirety of the non-voting portion in the South and will sweep Arkansas' state house and governor's mansion and Senate seats and congressional districts through magic and pixie dust and #socialism and birds and memes.

If you're talking about winning back Northern whites in periurban locales with a moderation of message and a better candidate that's one thing. But when you start pretending that you're going to win Utah and Oklahoma by tacking super left because that's what everyone secretly wants, then you're coo coo for cocoa puffs.

Amen.

Frankly, I don't know how many more Ls the far left needs to take at this point to get it.

Ok, new proposal.

Run the most socialist socialist that ever socialist in every impossible to win seat, for the sole intent to shut up any bernie bot that thinks bernie's the answer to every single last problem of the democrats.

They'll just come back and complain that they weren't supported well enough by the dnc, but it's not like it costs anything.

Sure, I would like to see that. Would be an interesting social experiment. Only if it doesn't bleed into affecting the candidacy of dems in competitive districts. Also all the more power if they win. Big if but hey apparently if your charismatic enough, it really doesn't matter what your platform is.

This is literally my proposal except that they need to be racial justice advocates as well as economic justice advocates, not nativists trapped in a k-hole that makes them repeat the same stump speech in response to every question

Bernie Sanders almost repeating his stump speech when asked about Afghanistan was so...

I mean it's from immigrants? Unless they don't know how to cook or something.

What I'm saying is that there are places where the immigrant Mexican population is so large that they can find success catering solely to that market. Nowhere in Idaho is that true. Hell, even friends from Phoenix who have moved to Denver complain that the Mexican food is bad.

California, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and Chicago are all places I've been to with good Mexican food. Seattle, Minneapolis, Spokane, Baltimore are all places I've been to which don't have good Mexican food despite having Mexican restaurants owned and operated by Mexican immigrants.

To put it bluntly; most areas of the country have bad Mexican food, even if the restaurants are owned and operated by Mexican immigrants. Why? because in most areas those Mexican owned and operated restaurants have to cater to their largely non-Mexican immigrant population.

I'm confused. Most Mexican-American food is bad because it caters to non-Mexican immigrants but I'm a not a Mexican-immigrant so why would I like the food that isn't catering to me better?

I don't like Mexican food because I have freakishly boring plain tastes in food, like 70% of my diet is bread and pasta.

Probably because someone who never eats Mexican food might not even know how good it can taste. I am probably one of those people.

Trump hates Mexican food so much, every time he eats a taco bowl it's forcefully deported 5 minutes later.

At the very least, it could open the Overton window and maybe change some voters' minds

Clinton's loss is an L that ya'll hold. The Democratic party has nothing to offer anyone right now. At least the Bernie crazies are attempting to give it a soul.

Also, I'm not sure what you consider 'far left', but the shit the Bernie people in this thread are talking about isn't it.

You probably need to learn how to hold an L first before running around criticizing others.

If you're so knowledgeable about what "far left" is, then go ahead and explain your ideas. It's likely the "Bernie people in this thread have already covered what you're thinking.

Tom Price is a major league scumbag. He was asked about the report that a West Virginian would get about $8000 less under this new plan, and his response was, "Who knows what that 60-year old wants? The federal government doesn't know. Only he/she does."

What does that even mean? How does that make any sense at all?

Falls in line with their overall idea that not everyone wants or needs health care. If you were to talk to that guy he likely wouldn't have an actual answer given he doesn't know the system or costs inside out, Tom Price does and that scares him.

Tom Price is the worst type of physician (weird how the physicians in the congress happen to be GOP) and makes the rest of the medical community ashamed. Good thing he can't legislate or coordinate for shit it seems but he has a lot of power that he will probably abuse in the interest of Access.

I'm just so incredibly frustrated. It is obvious republicans are going the route of repeal and blame Obamacare for the disaster that their plan makes. They don't care about the poor, the sick, etc. All they care about is the rich. Something has to change in this country.

The Opechee house was left in disrepair, according to an email between the landlord and Bannon and interviews with the landlord.

Padlocks had been placed on interior doors — or the doors had been removed altogether. A hot tub was destroyed.

“[E]ntire Jacuzzi bathtub seems to have been covered in acid,” the landlord wrote in the February 2015 email to Bannon.

“I’m out of town,” Bannon replied. “is there any way u can talk with Diane and sort things out ???”

The damage was estimated at more than $14,000, according to an accounting by the landlords, who kept the $9,800 security deposit from Bannon and Clohesy.

So, is everyone waiting until March 20 for the Comey testimony? As someone who's not very familiar with this process, is this going to be the turning point for this whole....thing?

Trump's been oddly quiet these last few days. It's making me nervous. Less gaffes means less reasons to impeach*.

*is impeachment even a possibility anymore, or is the GOP fine with all of Trump's bullshit?
