Eagle Scouts and Cabinet Members Rick Perry and Ryan Zinke were invited to attend today's boy scouts remarks.

Eagle Scout Jeff Sessions was not.

Unfortunately no I'm not really supposed to do that. Plus she's with her husband and it's her birthday so I wouldn't want to intrude on their celebration. I did get the server to tell her thanks for her service. Apparently she only comes out for red meat twice a year haha.

It does make those times I had to cook for Stephen Miller and Kellyanne a little bit less shitty.

It's pretty clear that you only have a year tops in this administration before you either resign due to insanity or Trump finds some reason to fire you.

People aren't talking about Trump telling Boy Scouts that he'd fire Tom Price if he didn't get the votes for health care today.

I went to the Boy Scout jamboree when I was a teen and President Bill Clinton was the speaker. I don't remember all that much about the speech, but it was sure as hell more coherent than this by far.

No chance, because they aren't technically voting on the repeal tomorrow

But anyway, tomorrow's vote is probably just so McConnell can end this. He doesn't even have the votes to proceed to a debate (which is the vote tomorrow)

I found this amazing apologist post on yahoo answers re: which ideology has killed the most people.

You can't count people killed in war time because that happens in every conflict. There was no systematic genocide of ethnic groups or political opponents under Italian fascism not until Hitler imposed the Nuremberg laws on Italy. Nor was Mussolini an anti-Semite in fact there was Jews among the party leadership up to 1938. The left likes to paint Fascism and Nazism as the same thing but that's just another of their gross misleading distortions.

It reminds me that there's a growing trend to paint Nazi's as the extreme left--since they were the "National Socialist" party, obviously they are indicative of what Socialism entails, it's right in the name! Just like how the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea is super Democratic.

That's been a thing forever but they did nationalize industry and a bunch of other shit in the socialist model. It's just an example of how the use of "left/right" is ultimately inadequate.

I mean who even wants to use where Frenchmen sat as a means of defining political ideology anyway.

Also in reference to the original yahoo post I mean yeah sure Italian fascism didn't have a anti Semitic bent the way the Germans did but they still doused Ethiopia in chemical weapons with nary a care.
