Unlike MJ, Janet was consistently a big name from her Control debut in 1986 up until the fallout from Superbowl in 2004. The Superbowl incident itself actually made Janet the most searched for person and the most searched event in the history of the internet, as determined by the 2007 Guinness Book of World Records.
