I said hard
ER to press. What they are trying to pass as an awesome new feature didn't feel like it to me at all, they weren't as fast/comfortable to use as the Elite or KK3.
Because Razer sure is 'realiable':
Just check out Reddit to see the hundreds of customers talking about its 'reliability' and how fine their hardware and software is:
I'm not talking out of my ass here. I have a Kraken V3 Pro, a Freyja haptic cushion and purchased and tested a Wolverine V3 (which I returned).
Razer is, for many reasons well known to many people, one of the worst brands there is. They flash 'cool' features but the reality is that in the end their hardware is crappy, their software (which they force on the user) is cancer inducing and their customer support are just excuse-bots with a standard script.
Back to the controller itself, just the 2 back buttons of the Wolverine are crap, compared to both the Elite and the KK3 4 paddles, which you can even customize in many ways to fit your preferences.
I was also amazed at how bad and muffled the vibration is, compared to the Elite and even the much cheaper KK3.
At $260 the Wolverine is outrageously overpriced. You could be purchasing a KK3 every year for 4 years straight and still save money... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
