This whole Rob Ford saga seriously, seriously needs to be made in to a TV series. Drama, intrigue, crime, politics ... it has everything. The domestic disturbance call inadvertently thwarted a police sting involving Lisi? Amazing. You can't ask for better material to work with.
It's got to be a family drama. It's apparent that poor Robbie is a product of one supremely fucked up rich and influential family.
It'll be called "The Fords".
It's like the Kennedys without the charm, beauty, considerate public policy, governance, class, intelligence, tragedy and self-control.
This is what I was thinking. Until that fat bastard is arrested on charges of something, this is nothing. They can throw all the extra information out the window at this point if it doesn't lead to an arrest.
Also, Doug Ford's son-in-law is a TPS copper, I believe.
I believe Supt. Ron Taverner of 23 Division is also a well-known friend of the Fords

My entire family adores the line of Air Farce / 22 Minutes / Ralph Mercer style of CBC comedy. I am regularly mocked for finding the writing "witty" and "biting".

Canadian humour and scripted TV shows don't go together. The three pillars of Canadian, irony, wit and self-deprecation, are meant for more fluid and conversational materials.

BS...maybe Canadian comedy shows nowadays are bad, but back in the day SCTV and Kids in the Hall were two of the best sketch comedy shows anywhere. I have to agree that "This Hour.." sucks.

If you ever want your mind blown, drive out to Hamilton to a place called Mr. Used. It's a huge warehouse with all sorts of junk for sale....and a good chunk of the old Red Green Show set is there.

Yep, same with Air Farce.
I watched 22 Minutes every week back then. It was spot-on. Biting political satire, like The Daily Show before The Daily Show existed.
Then Rick Mercer left, and it slowly went to shit.
Air Farce, on the other hand, has always been about cheesy celebrity impersonations.

Eh those poll numbers aren't very accurate. For one thing, they only poll land lines and I know no one under the age of 30 that has a landlne.

People under 30 don't seem to vote either so that is fair demographics to judge from. They might be inaccurate to 5% or even 10% even then he has 30% or more support in some cases.
