I saw a kid in the doctors office playing a Vita a month ago and was surprised.
Clearly the Vita was the one going to see the doctor because its on deaths door.
I've seen someone playing a Vita on the NYC subway before. Talk about a rare sighting.

I do that all the time. Switch, 3DS, you name it, I have it out on the subway. My ride's a good 40 minutes, plenty of time to squeeze in a few shrines in Zelda or a battle in Echoes.
Though you're right, it's pretty rare for me to see anyone else playing something other than mobile/tablet on the train. I always smile and nod at the ones that aren't though.
Is the high five thing a meme? I remember seeing it in other NeoGAF threads
I only play portables in my house, feels weird to take it outside when I'm having a social life i wouldn't waste spending my time outside gaming still pretty sad imo, unless for some one or two minute casual games at random times
I once someone on bus playing Vita. It was me, I was looking at myself in the mirror...
I saw a guy playing Zelda a week after launch on the train, had the volume on full blast.
During my daily commute here in NYC the last 234 years
Well, in the UK, I haven't seen a single one in the wild. So, I'm not sure it's really 'made it.'
That said, last night, there was a girl playing Zelda on her Switch. I gave her a high five and we discussed all our favorite shrines, and we readily agreed that having weapons break after 1 hit was totally the right way to go, and we hoped every other game incorporated that mechanic going forward.
.
Saw a guy play Switch the other day in the same train, sat right next to him, saw he was playing Mario Kart, I pulled out my Switch and asked if he wants to play a round or two.
He packed his Switch in his bag, stood up and went away. Saw him sitting on the stairs when I left the train, still playing Mario Kart.![]()
What are you doing high-fiving strangers on the subway?
A girl? Man she's playing a switch must mean gaming is now mainstream right?
I'm triggered by this.and we readily agreed that having weapons break after 1 hit was totally the right way to go, and we hoped every other game incorporated that mechanic going forward.
I saw a kid playing something on a DS Lite the other day. THE DS IS BACK, GUYS.

I played my Switch while I made on the toilet.
The Switch has also made it.
I'm afraid so, what's next though? Adults reading Manga in the subway?
You got me there for a moment lol, I was cringing so hard until I realized you were being sarcastic. That said, last night, there was a girl playing Zelda on her Switch. stop people watching on the train, my guy
that's like a request to get timbs shoved up your ass, real talk B
The weird thing (to me) was that she just put it into her backpack as she left the train. I'd want a carrying case for that badboy.
