It's cool Matt is getting to finish FFX, but both of them missing dialog ("just give us the Final Aeon already") is going to cause frustration by the end. There should be a debriefing of the game on the podcast once the LP is over with all four taking about it.
You'll be playing it 4 something hours early on Monday night? Lucky.
DS3 LP is also delayed since Woolie got sick, so people should have more time to get ahead anyway. Never really was going to be much of a problem for people even if they only put in a few hours a week.

I heard some interesting stuff about IBO - Mari Okada (the head writer) wanted a way darker version that goes pretty grimderp. It makes me glad that we got the version we have, even if it's got some problems, because I burned out on that shit after BSG seasons 3 and 4 and Stargate Universe.

Kinda shitty gameplay mechanics, super unsatisfying story that poorly argues against killing evil children in an apocalyptic situation, really bad pacing, would've been totally irrelevant if not for the ending.

I've made a Guts build. There's an armour set that looks just like his Berserker Armour. Got my Greatsword to plus 4 and have enough equip load to wield it quickly.
This game has so many Berserk references. Maybe even more than any Souls game before it.

I know but I was expecting something more than that like roll parrying monastery scimitar levels or stunlocked by broken swords.
Okay, so you know how Dangaronpa 1 and 2 are pretty good all around in terms of pacing in regards to the story?
Ultra Despair Girls isn't. It has one good chapter. The first 2 or 3 chapters are full of start and stop gameplay.
And most dialogue that isn't Koharu and Toko bouncing off each other is absolutely terrible. It also doesn't feel very meaningful in the wider Danganronpa storyline.
M. Night Shamalam would be proud and disgusted.

Honestly I have always favored Matt and Pat over Liam and Woolie, but honestly I am actually starting to warm up to Liam after all this time. I think he finally got through my ice cold heart when he beat the "world record" for that one twitch game they played. I forget the name
