I'd love to roll around on the floor with her.

Smashing.

Everything so far about Skyfall is awesome. Cannot wait for the trailer!

Same, but seeing how far off that is, I'll settle for the production photos which will inevitably start appearing after next week.

Just finished the press conference. Very excited for the film; the energy is palpable throughout the cast. This is going to be great.

I'm interested to see what Mendes can do with the Bond franchise and if the reports of a 'leaner' budget are true I can only see that being a good thing given the bloated, wildly expensive mess that was Quantum Of Solace.

Yes please. Goddamn they have picked physically perfect leading ladies for Craig in all three of his films.

I absolutely cannot wait for this. I used to think I was the biggest Bond nerd ever (definitely am amongst everyone I know in real life) but then I came to this board and got shamed. But Skyfall is officially the event I'm most looking forward to of 2012, over any other video game or movie.

Craig, Bardem, Fiennes all in the same movie? Just put it straight into my veins, thanks.

Well, he is 43. And even at 33, his face looked much older than that. Don't care though, the man rocks and he's still in amazing shape. Unlike Connery, Moore and Brosnan, we'll never see a fat Daniel Craig Bond.

Pierce Brosnan in PJs with a gigantic beer gut hanging out in DAD still haunts my dreams.
The hyperbole is strong. The sort of man crush you got on Craig is disturbing.

I definitely am amongst everyone I know in real life. Won a £10 bet the other day after correctly naming every single fleming book and film in order from memory, along with the years of release, film director, soundtrack composer and writer for each film (as well as who played bond).

I don't know if anyone on this board can match this - maybe solo.

I will not lie, had to control my boner throughout the whole scene even though there was no nudity. The chin bite killed me.

Craig is lucky to be in the company of such classy and sexy women.

Jeeeez, Michael G Wilson is looking old these days. I wonder who he'll play in this film?

(and for those unaware, he's had a cameo in almost every single film since Goldfinger).

They aren't.

I can do that for the films without batting an eye. The books though? Probably not.

Whoever it is, it can't possibly be less believable than the police chief from CR :lol

And yeah, he looks like the walking dead.

I really wish Mendes or anyone for that matter would comment on the approach being taken for this movie. The most they say is that they want to continue in the same vein as CR and QoS, which is what they also said when QoS was being made. And yet those two are very very different movies.

I really do hope the rumors are true and that we get to see a less formulaic Bond movie with the three action set pieces waiting to be shot at and instead get something more character driven with a hint of Oscar bait as far as dialogue goes.

Fuck I'm so happy that the cameras start rolling on Monday. This has been a long time coming. From QoS' release to the MGM bankruptcy to the bailout to this day. How sweet it is.

The dialogue will be great. I guarantee it. When one of your second-billed writers wrote Closer, you have nothing to worry about.

I think the only legitimate thing left to worry about is how Mendes will handle action. Everything else seems pretty much a sure thing.

Also I hope David Arnold does a much better job with the score than he did on Quantum. It wasn't bad per se, just not very memorable.

Surely Mendes and the producers saw the negative reaction to Quantum for being a 2 hour chase sequence. They would be foolish to do the same thing.

Can't be any worse than Marc Forster.

If he is even remotely as good as Campbell i'll be happy.

I'm 30 minutes into No Country For Old Men right now and it's the first time I'm watching it; keeping an eye on Javier Bardem, that's why I'm watching it in the first place. =)

He's pretty cold, awesome.

Was just coming to say this, I swear! Javier Bardem was awesome in "No Country". I have really liked the direction they've taken with the Bond films since Daniel Craig has been 007.

Less reliance on gadgets, and just all around a more rugged Bond.

So looking at all the hints about Fiennes, is there any chance he isn't going to be Blofeld? I mean just imagining him in the role is so perfect is disturbing.

Bardem's a great actor and can absolutely lead the film as the head honcho of whatever conspiracy is behind the attack on MI5, but fuck, I'd love to see him as a modern-day Red Grant-esque character in this.

Sources say Anton Sigurh murders Bond in the first 10 minutes of the movie and takes one the Bond persona from there.

They've said they couldn't give his, Wisham's or Finney's character names because they would be spoilers for fans of the franchise. I think one could surmise that Fiennes could be Blofeld, Wisham could be Q, and maybe Finney is some relation to Bond.

If this manages to be as good as Casino Royale I'll be more than happy. Although it has the potential to be even better.

It's 50/50 the way I see it. They have all the talent assembled to make the best Bond ever, but on the flip side, they don't have the incredible source material that they had on Casino Royale.

I'm watching Ronin and it reminds me: Tomorrow Never Dies was an awesome film.
Anyway, this all seems set up for a great Bond movie.

That's the only thing I am worried about at the moment. I like the cast a lot though.

yeah I like it. I think Brosnan had 2 good bond films under him, not just one.

Finally watched the press conference. I love the enthusiasm present, especially with Mendes and Bardem. Berenice's smile melts me, goddamn.

Beautiful ladies :)

I love the title and the logo. Very cool and stark. Loving that M and Bond will have more scenes together. Love the cast and director. I do really hope that Quantum isn't just dropped. Maybe not a big factor in Skyfall, but I want to see them come back and see Bond deal with them once and for all. I want some resolution on that end at least.

But shit, Skyfall looks like it'll be fucking awesome.

While I haven't completely forgven them for that abomination called, "Quantum of Solace," Javier Bardiem and Ralph Fiennes are enough to get me hyped. Albert Finney is just the icing on the cake.

What about Loghan? I checked his background and it seems okay but not anything spectacular.

He wrote Gladiator, The Last Samurai, The Aviator, Sweeney Todd, Hugo, etc.

So am I correct in understanding that Skyfall is basically Bond vs Anton Chigurh, with the DOP of No Country for Old Men, and the 2nd Unit Director of Casino Royale? Does this mean that my eyes will not implode from pain from every single action sequence in the movie? Or could Mendes still fuck that up? Someone tell me!
