Got to Gamestop in time. Probably got there about 7 mins after the tweet went out. Was the first one to preorder and they had 6 available. The phone was ringing non stop.

Also secured the Amazon one. But one will be for my friend who is stuck at work and had no luck on any of the sites today if both preorders pull through.

Reminder again: Nin-Ten-Do is who to scream at. The retailers can only insert unit numbers and let their checkout software try to cope.

The retailers can implement a much better system to deal with products whose demand outstrips supply.

Thank you to whoever dropped the tip about in store GameStop pre-orders. I drove to my nearest GS with as many legal limits as I could and managed to get the 2nd to last one for that store!

Just got back from Gamestop. My store wouldn't give specific numbers, but it was single digits. Gone within 15-20 minutes of announcement, yet phone was ringing off the hook and people were pouring in.
