Prima Games‘ Official Game Guide Splatoon has shared more information on the free content that Nintendo will steadily roll out for the Wii U exclusive.

“Stay tuned to Splatoon for more incoming content, including new ink battle stages, game modes, weapons and gear,” the guide’s ‘Coming Soon!’ page reads. “Here’s a sneak peek at a few of the new features you can look forward to.”

Beyond this the page, as you can see below, presents a visual overview of what’s incoming, presenting four new stages, the Tower Control mode and nine new weapons – two of which take inspiration from the infamous NES Zapper.

It’s unclear when these will precisely become available, but at least we know that Nintendo has plentiful plans to keep us splattering to our heart’s content.

Insofar the Seeker for me as it provides decent ink coverage while also offsetting the weakness of Burst Bombs and detonation time of the grenades.

I really want the Mines though so I look forward to upgrading to the AeroSpray RG.

No way to know it, but it could be I guess. They had no real way to know how many time it would take to get a particular number of lvl10 players and they can't delay ranked mode for too long so...They could have picked a day and acted like what we were doing mattered

Only way to test this is for everyone to stop playing. That shouldn't be hard.

I think all the other days were legit, but this time? I think that we are at the top, they just ain't got the update done yet, so had to put us closer, but not at the top.

There is no way we been going up 2 notches lately and only did 1 yesterday!

YES to the "Tetris Effect". I ended up playing until sun rise from the moment it was released on eShop. I got something like 1.5 hours of sleep. Around the time I was waking up, I could "hear" sound effects from the game, particularly the sound of firing a Jr.

Seems to be the roller is all about capitalising on board position and then mobility around the map. and of course making sure the spawn area has nice coverage

I honestly can't think of another new IP on the Wii U to compare it to besides Wonderful 101.
