I know Kizu has not finished production yet, but I will at least purchase that part of the series once the Blu-ray is made available.
the japanese version isnt my cup of tea but either way is a good experience.
Congrats! I just picked up neko black to continue the monogatari collection.
That show is quite something else. The finest of haremshit.
I know. Its so good.
I will buy it with the quickness as well, but I just wish they would throw us a bone on where Kizu is at the moment.

This OVA was really great, I loved the style they chose, those thick lines and the dialogue and humour was really top notch with some nice reaction faces and gags all around.
This is really GOOD old GAINAX, with just the right amount of being over the top to take its silly premise to its logical conclusion and it really was silly.
What KLK should have been.

For what it's worth it makes M.D. Geist seem tame. Though I liked Geist's brand of dum better. This was closer to Deathforce if anything.

I am starting to think Kizu will be released after the Final Season novels have had their anime adaptations. The Final Season novels are supposed to be having an anime once the series is completed right, or am I mistaken?

Didn't realize that was two year old news. Still wondering if NisiOisin will add any addition volumes for Zoku-Owarimonogatari or if the Monogatari series will end with three six-volumes seasons.

Who would of though Unicorn's would be dangerous. Aside from that pretty good episode, the MC and his sister seem interesting and so does Chaika. The way Chaika talks doesn't really bother me so it doesn't detract my enjoyment.

Rio Rainbow Gate END - Gambling is serious business. There's a reason why you need to be 21 or older to gamble. Like gambling, you should be 21 or older before watching this show. However, this show is more like alcohol, in that it'll kill your brain cells while watching it. Thirteen episodes of nonsense. "Epic" battles between top casino dealers in classic casino games like, Concentration, Skeet Shooting (where you lose bits of clothing if you miss), and... "Guess Which Hand the Coin is In."
I suppose the show does get a pass, its apparently based off a line of pachinko machines. I imagine the quality of writing is comparable.

This was a great episode. It had a really nice battle scene showing of the MC rouge type fighting style. I really do love the male protagonist as he welcomes war rather than wanting peace which for me is something fresh.

Finished the first two stories in the 11th Spice & Wolf light novel and I noticed Yen Press completely botched the placement of three of the black and white illustrations on pages 13, 65, and 78. I did not notice the misplacement on page 13, but after rereading the text next the illustration the mistake was abundantly clear. Don't really know how to address this to Yen Press besides Twitter during their day hours.
Truly sad for the misplaced illustrations, but even more so due to the lack of a third TV-anime. I wouldn't even mind an OVA that covers one of the Side Colors stories being bundled with the still continuing manga adaptation.

The illustrations in question are not even in the correct story. The latter two mistakes are quite evident since the illustrations depict people not even present in the current story!
Here's my attempt to explain the illustration mistakes. First page lists current illustration placement, and the arrow points to where the illustration actually should be.

What the hell's up with the penguins in Daimidaler especially since they love showing off their tails. I swear these penguins seem like trolls. Aside from that I know I shouldn't enjoy Daimidaler but damn is it stupid in a funny way, making it enjoyable.
To DM someone on Twitter they need to be following you, but Yen Press doesn't do that for any of their own followers, so just tweeting them @yenpress should be fine. I'm sure they look all those over.
So the pictures were all just rotated one. That's annoying and unfortunate, to be certain, but far from the worst thing that could have happened. It's also easy enough to mitigate once one knows about it, so thanks for the heads up and taking one for the team.

It wasn't bad, really, but I did suffer a bit from expectations. Generally when you get a 1-hour special with both FBI and Black Organization ties to it you expect something to happen. Though this was more or less a big recap. It's probably a needed recap, honestly, but you'd think since there's so much resused footage, we might get a consistent production for the case at hand. It was cheaply animated and the character art would plummet in a pretty embarrassing way. Also, there's one large, reused plot device that is starting to get on my nerves in all of Conan:

Disguises. It's been pretty much an engine for reveals in this latest arc and used pretty liberally in arcs before it. Kaito Kid doesn't even look impressive anymore since just about everyone in the series has been disguised as someone else at some point.
Really, it is better to just read the manga in the case of Elfen Lied.
