Yeah. It's my favorite of the season so far. It just somehow feels so mature compared to your standard anime. Like they are doing it for all people that enjoy anime and not just for otakus. Refreshingly different.

Alright, this sounds kinda nerd-tastic, but it's Elle (or just L), not Eru. It's based on the L of L85 and the Japanes for the life of them can't pronounce a proper "L" sound. D:

Yeah, that's right. This is the biggest problem with the series. It kind of needs gun nerds to translate it or there will be a bunch of things that go over other peoples heads.

I must have been in the wrong frame of mind when I watched the first episode last week, because I'm really digging the bright colors, breezy music, laid-back progression and even find Haru slightly less punchable. The only downside of the slow pacing is that I don't know what they're going to manage to accomplish in nine more episodes. It seems pretty unlikely that this show is ever going to completely abandon its cheerful bubblegum tone, so they'll balance the slice-of-life and save-the-world scenarios somehow, I suppose. I don't care if it's intricate as long as it's well-executed.

Finally Earth draws near. Alaska seems like a random location though decent episode overall. Always baffled when the higher ups want to snatch away the Gundam from the pilots, or in this case the Coordinator who is the only one they have capable of flying it, illogical.

Lancer's death scene gave me chills. I've thought previously that they had left Kiritisugu's motivations a bit too vague, but that conversation at the end was well executed character development.

The episode has already been thoroughly critically dissected by other posters (I really need to start watching stuff on the day it airs), so I'll just say that I'm still thoroughly pleased with every aspect of the show's production. I have no idea what direction any of this is going to go, but it's in good hands no matter what.
