High School DXD: porn-based plot about a high-school guy who becomes a sex-demon and starts building his own harem. His powers include being able to disintegrate people's clothes.

Maybe they'll be able to fix what they did to Senjougahara's face.
Probably not though since they're running others.

Living in the shadow of Amaz
Mirai Nikki 17

Damn.

Fuck, man. This game is bullshit.
Why must they die? ;_;

That girl
sure can last a lot of time with her throat cut, huh?

But that was an interesting arc. I have a feeling they're just trolling the viewers
by "building their relationship".

And then DAMN. I saw it coming ages ago, but DAMN.

A somewhat interesting plot with generally ugly visuals, and a cast of many throwaway characters other than a yandere that everyone likes and a couple others. It loses a lot of its horror and thriller elements further into the show as well.

This scene from episode 3 was pretty great though (spoilers): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eOHhg4WwCo

That entire setting was awesome. When Yuki
opened the door and everyone's diaries reacted
was great too.

Anyway I had fun watching Mirai Nikki, but its not something I would recommend.

I had the opposite experience. I was constantly pissed while reading the manga but I definitely don't mind recommending it to someone who likes these crazy type of shows.

The Light of El Cantare
Fairy Tail 10:

lol, the Erza nerfing begins already. So blatant.

and why is Laxus such a monumentally enormous douchebag?

Fairy Tail 11:

delicious angry Mirajane.

Another arc, another huge demonic monster thing to beat.

Fairy Tail 12:

Need to get to the bottom of a tough mystery? No need for actual detective work when a random Stellar Spirit conveniently understands the arcane language your enemies speak and knows every last detail regarding the nature of the extraordinarily-obscure magic technique they utilize!

Also, a short, ill-tempered character with spiky white hair that summons ice dragons? Fairy Tail stealing from Bleach, confirmed now more than ever.

Get ready for the pedantic police to get on your ass.

"If you enjoyed it why wouldn't you recommend it"

Well for me, when a show has such obvious objective flaws I can't in good conscious recommend it just because I got some level of subjective enjoyment out of it. I mean, I had "fun" watching Black Rock Shooter TV, but I certainly wouldn't recommend that to anyone.

Haiyore! Nyaruko-san 2 - Hmm, decent episode. Definitely very formulaic stuff for this franchise, but sure, it was done plenty well.

So...

On the one hand, poor Cthuga (if I'm getting her name right?). All she wants is to have her love returned, but Nyaruko's stuck on some guy instead... :(

On the other hand, poor Nyaruko. She loves this guy, but all she gets in return for her devotion is to be stabbed with a fork. :( Why did you have to pick such a violently tsundere guy, (or is he just sanely scared of superpowered yandere girls? Either way, the results are the same.) Nyaruko? But I guess she sort of likes that side of him, considering how happy she was to see that dere moment of his. Until he stabs her with a fork, of course, she doesn't seem to like that.

So yeah, it's unfortunate for both of them that they have the feelings they do. Apart from that, Mahiro's a jerk, you go to the great theme park, and don't even want to go on any of the rides? Party pooper...

Oh, and as for the plot, hah, he thought it was over! As if Nyaruko-san will let you get away so easily... :)

So yeah, overall, the episode had its good and bad parts. I guess it was good overall, but not as good as episode 1. The theme park was good stuff, though, all those Lovecraftian monsters having fun at the fair... :lol

Finally, mr. villain, I think their reaction was borderline going too far, but it IS wrong to try to kidnap people you know. If you want to make that movie, come up with a way to convince (or con) Mahiro into agreeing to.

Lucy is cool too. She is always competing with Erza on who can wear the least amount of clothes.

I think overall Lucy wins that competition. And yeah, it's an okay show, can be fun at times. I haven't actually watched it in quite a while now, though; I follow the manga, but haven't watched the anime since ep. 49... I've thought about watching it again, but it'd take quite a while to catch up.

Just watched Jormungand 3, and while I still love the show, the direction sucked pretty bad in this episode. Not that the first two episodes were awesome in that regard or anything, but it was especially terrible here. The exposition stuff is serviceable at best, but the action scenes have no impact whatsoever. And the few directors who get action scenes right are wasted on shit like Guilty Crown. Meh.

I think that ties for a favorite arc. Lyon is up there with Gray. Ice make is rather creative magics and their bond. Were they still using Snow Fairy for the OP?

Bleach (186-190) dub rewatch

Velonica seems to sound good in subsequent rewatches. I just realized how catchy it is as well as the animation. This is the point where all the OPs were quality. Recap of the Ichigrim fight makes me want to rewatch it in full again. And Clavar la Espada...

Saint Seiya Omega 4
saint_seiya_omega_dragon_ryuho_by_tristtrist-d4xp7wp.gif

Mr. Georges was funny, but I felt it was emotional of an episode.
When Ryuho turned the tables to fight, I thought he had literally betrayed Kouga, but then over the course of the fight and ending it was touching how he did it all just for helping him release his element. A new friend
. Pegasus has the most ornate and memorable cosmos scene followed by Lionet Cloth, then Dragon.

If you still find it boring by the Phantom Lord arc, you probably always will.

Edit: Well, maybe the Fighting Festival arc.

Phantom Lord was the last arc that I made it all of the way through in the manga.
Natsu defeating Gajeel
felt so anticlimactic to me that I just gave up. A few episodes a week won't kill me, but I can't promise that my episode impressions won't be nothing but bitching and criticism.

Yep -- as usual, Shaft was very enthusiastic in redrawing some scenes, for example turning this:

into this:

Here's a comprehensive comparison. Note: link is NSFW, if only due to Kanbaru ass near the end of the page.

Seems like Shaft noticed the inconsistency between where Karen was handwalking and where they had that entire scene.

Of course, being that this is Shaft, the solution is obviously not correcting the short 5-second sequence preceding the scene, but instead redrawing the entire thing from scratch in a completely new location! Why? Because shut up.

Also dat Kanbaru returns.

Well that's pretty much how all the Fairy Tail arcs end up. Great opening and setting building, decent midgame and terrible endings.
