Speaking of mechanical animators, I think I know where most of them are right now...

This seems different from the manga as I don't remember any ruined cities.

Oh and the biggest problem I had with KnK was that it was soaked full of terminology that it assumes the audience has a rough understanding of. While the basic plots are easy to follow, some of the underlying stuff is really hard to understand without extra materials. Other than that I liked it a lot.

No, but see, it's totally fine because something visual is occurring while words come out of their mouths:

That was seriously an odd way to draw some action into what was otherwise exposition-bombing.

Yeah, also looking at that design, it's clear that this scene does not take place in Okinawa, and it probably introduces the larger worldview in some way that the manga did not. We'll see.

My biggest problem was just that it was so goddamn ugly. Everything from the character motion, to the designs, to the art direction was really hard to enjoy.

I'm not doing no list until the end of this week at least.
For me it'd basically just be Articalys' stream list with the text "will check out" after everything.

It'd be shorter to list only the ones I know I won't watch:
  • Kimi to Boku 2
  • Saint Seiya
  • Polar Bear Cafe
  • Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals
  • Folktales from Japan
  • Phi Brain S2
  • Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? Of the Dead
  • anything with no internet stream anywhere

Fate/Zero 03:

Sorry AnimeGAF. I just can't get into this. Great art. Great animation. Interesting premise. Horrible cast I can't stand (sans Rider).

Dropped.

Acchi Kocchi 1

This was fairly decent. The charming art style and animation certainly helped but that didn't stop everything else from being fairly threadbare. It's fairly cute though so I can certainly see why cajun would make an avatar from this.

Maybe the manga is not representative of the anime series after all?! honestly those screen-shots indicate the series will be a bit more serious than "IS 2.0" hence my hope for it right now!

No, all the screens from episode 1 other than that one are all right out of the manga. Sorry.

Why bother continuing if you're not enjoying it?
Some shows start out bad then get better. I pretty much dropped Heartcatch Precure after 4 episodes because it was incredibly boring, but eventually gave it another shot because I wanted to see what people were raving about and it turned out ok.

It matches the profile of the RA301 which might mean they're going to introduce the pilots earlier compared to the manga or as you said, give a snippet of the world scenario. That said, nothing in the manga has implied that the world is screwed up to that extent. Also did we see any cities in the original E7 that had anything like skyscrapers? If this is really only a 20 year timeskip then a lot of things aren't adding up.

around episode ten, I personally couldn't be assed to continue. I didn't think it was bad, I'm not even sure I considered it boring - I just lost interest. It's one of the shows that are kind of just there. YMMV.
This describes my reaction, except I stopped after six. I can comprehend what people like about it, but I just don't care about seeing the rest of it.

All these posts defending the first half of Fate/Zero warms my heart, although not as much as the fact that the second half is just so much better and I'm looking forward to it and the reactions to it from Animu-GAF.

Haha, sorry, but if you're my enemy you're not a very good one. I'm not menaced by you at all!

Such is my lot in life. I'm just here, redacting at cute things and humming Miku songs. I suppose I'll go watch Sailor Moon tomorrow or something.

Tis better to have watched and dropped than never to have watched at all.

Yeah, at least I know I gave it a shot.
