Everything has been handled better in the anime.

What the hell? The manga sounds like a terrible exercise in bad taste by the way you guys talk.
This is Shinichi Omata's first time directing a full show. There's no telling whether he has joined DEEN on an ongoing basis or intends to freelance at various studios.

Ah, thanks. I'll be keeping an eye on this guy from now on.
That's good to know. Are there any parts that are changed dramatically to fit in the adaptation?
Ginga e Kickoff! 01
They are playing football! And it doesn't look like shit!! It even has a main character named Erika who is all about girl power! It's not like The Knight in the Area where I was expecting some nice-looking matches with decent animation but got cardboard-cutout shit. I didn't care for the melodrama, nor the cast full of dipshits (Seven aside). I just wanted football, and that didn't deliver.
Then I went on to this. The football animu of my dreams.
That's crayzy awesome. I ink you should get kraken on watching this ASAPde geso
To commemorate this, here is an excerpt from Hisako Kanemoto's Ika Musume radio show wherein she attempts to complete two user-submitted tounge-twister challenges.Wow, I've been away for a few hours.
I'll catch up in a minute, but before I do, I have a new member to welcome to my Anime BluRay family! Say hello for squidly sake!
Whoa, I didn't know this was getting a BD release! Does it include the Mini-Ika specials?Wow, I've been away for a few hours.

Sankarea 2
They sure are trying to sell those BD's. Watching the first episode of Yami makes it even harder for me to come to terms with the fact that DEEN did this. My god. That dad's really fucked up.
I only skimmed over the first two chapters, which I thought were pretty terrible.Don't misunderstand, the manga, especially the first half or so, is reasonably enjoyable. The anime has gone in a different direction with it though, and it's a much better one.
after i catch up with what's airing yoAren't you supposed to be watching something else?
Nothing too big has been changed, but there's been plenty of smaller changes, the MC is less annoying in the anime, since he doesn't wear a stupid cat expression on his face all the time, unlike the manga, andhad a one sentence mention in the manga, while it was expanded quite a bit in the anime. And the sections in the second episodebabu's deathThe tone of the manga focuses more on comedy than the anime has so far, as well.of Rea and her father weren't in the manga at all, I believe.
Just so you can see what I mean, the MC has this expression on practically every panel, even during the serious moments:

Memes in general are pretty pointless (unless they involve Puffins) and we're all aware that anime is neither saved nor dead because the next season will usually be completely different, regardless of how good or bad the current season is. For example, Summer looks to be a very unimpressive season.
Nyan~

I sure am watching a lot of shows with aliens lately. Birdy, Ano Natsu, Brain Powerd, Flower Declaration of Your Heart, Tsuritama, Space Bros?, and Beautiful Dreamer.
Space Bros has aliens?
The ED is just so much more thematically consistent!eh, I disagree. I think the OP is better than the ED.
I will go there inori wo~ followed by a random mouse cursor clicking on one of the 6 rotating books. 5/5The ED is so much better.
The UFO shows up in like the first five minutes.Space Bros has aliens?
My sister didn't approve, but I sure did. Off to Pixiv...

I should have worded my post better. I just meant that the author didn't handle it very deftly and it came off as not so serious.I wouldn't go so far as to call it a joke in the manga, but it was more about implications than being overt like in the anime. The guy is still treated like a colossal creeper, but he doesn't enter complete monster territory like he does in this (though he gets pretty close).
There was the "UFO" that the young brothers sighted, but I don't think it's extraterrestrial in origin.
I should check this out at some point before CR decides to take it down.
My impression is that it's a wacky slapstick humor kind of thing, which I don't usually care for that much (e.g. I dropped Milky Holmes after a few eps), but I might be surprised.

My older sister can't be this shounenbro chapter III:

There's more to an OP/ED than the music. It's how the visuals and the music combine.Doesn't help that the song's bad.
She's mostly a nothing character in s1 though.Kurumi is the only reason the show is somewhat watchable.
Kurumi is the "best" and Sawako is the best. Easy!Didn't you mean Kurumi? lol!

It's more "nonsense" humour than straight up slap stick.I should check this out at some point before CR decides to take it down.

Mah mang.
Brofist.
I like a lot of the manic humor in a shut-your-brain-off sort of way.
