So much feelings, so much quality and detail in the animation, so much interesting dialogue, so much character development, such great pacing.
Only sad thing is that this is almost over.

Damm that was a great episode.

Only sad thing is that this is almost over.
This is the time I hate the most. I get attached to some of these shows and even build schedules around them, only for them to last me 1 season, sometimes 2. It's worse when you watch a 2-cour, which means 24 weeks of this show, almost half a year, and then it ends. Soma and Arslan are gonna hurt when they end in the summer. At least the former I can continue reading in manga form lol

Galaxy Angel AA (Season 3)
Honestly, I'm not even sure what I can say about AA that I haven't said for Galaxy Angel or GA Z. The anime continues to be absolutely funny; never dull or boring and in my case, kept me from falling asleep after some busy days! The gang continues to fit into their personalities quite well and they're still a blast to watch.
Mint and Milfuelle continue to be my favorites of the show, but recently Vanilla has become a star to me. The third season sees a lot more screen time for Vanilla with some episodes dedicated to her, as such, it really makes her a great character, even if she almost never talks. Ranpha and Forte continue to be the two bad asses of the anime and they're always funny to watch, especially when Mint, Ranpha and Forte get into competitions revolving around lost artifacts or events going on in the universe.
The sci-fi aspect of Galaxy Angel is down-right brilliant. It's not deep, is never really explained and has no true purpose aside from having Galaxy Angel take place in an environment that isn't school related. I feel like it works really well too, because so much slice of life is about that high school experience and no offence to all the SoL that do use schools, I love them very much, but a new environment is needed once in a while. (I still love all you animes in school, I really really do (Don't get mad at me)).
Lost Technology plays a bigger role this season, though how we obtain the Lost Technology is typically never showed, instead we're almost always shown how the Galaxy Angel solves the problems set in place by Lost Technology and just about every single scenario we witness is fantastic. Glad to see Lost Technology play a more upfront role.
Music and sound wise: The OP and ED's used might be my favorite of the 3 seasons I've seen thus far and even though the music and ambient sounds and back ground sounds definitely give off a 90's vibe, it totally works, even if they're recycled a bit.
Once again we see the trend of 90%-95% comedic and outright laugh out loud funny episodes in a beautiful episodic format, the other 5%-10% is filled with some serious and more intense episodes. The way these episodes feel and are shown to us is so different from the comedic stuff, it's a little crazy. I still feel that having the serious or darker based episodes (Darker compared to the light and fluffy that GA already gives us) is 100% incredible to do. The stark contrast can really give the viewer a huge adrenaline rush with a good story or great character roles and even though the episodes last 22 minutes or so, you feel more connected and involved whilst watching these types of episodes.
I feel as if Galaxy Angel AA might be my favorite season thus far, I love the OP and ED. I love the wild and crazy episodes we get to witness. I love the character progression and the focuses on Milfuelle and Vanilla. I love the better focus of Lost Technology too.
I guess the only thing I don't like about AA is the inclusion of the Twin Stars Brigade. The two kids aren't bad at all and in most cases can be really funny, I just wasn't expecting Galaxy Angel to cut some focus time away from the Angel Brigade. Even with the Twin Stars, I can't give Galaxy Angel AA any less than a 10/10, fantastic season for sure.

In other news, for those of you who play MMOs (WoW, Tera, etc) just wanted to give you a heads up that tomorrow at 10:00am PDT NCSoft will be doing their second official livestream of Blade&Soul, a long awaited title that will FINALLY be reaching our shores this year! I've been drooling over this game since 2008 and last year I played the chinese client of the game and can assure you that it is absolutely amazing. Most of you will probably be familiar with the title by the subpar anime that came out for it a few seasons ago. Don't let Gonzo's shoddy work deter you from checking this game out!

I believe this is a recommended anime to watch, so I'd say it's worth getting into. I think it was recommended to me before and pretty sure it's in a thread from the second post. I'd say go for it, as it's in my to watch list, but I haven't watched it and am just spouting words.....

Real talk, why is Kyo Ani so damn good at cute things? So many adorable interactions and gestures in Euphonium.
Natsuki senpai stays being awesome. I love how she likes to tease the annoying bow haired girl. I like when the animation gets really whimsical and breaks from the usual art style.

yup the dub is quite a bit behind. It actually works out well as it allows me to rewatch the series with it not feeling like I just watched it.
the main reason they are so far behind is because 4kids had the rights to one piece for a while, one piece has been making decent progress over the years.
They have in the past talked about the possibility of a broadcast dub, which if they could pull that off it would mean that from the current episodes on it would already be dubbed so they could just work to finish closing the gap over the next 8 years or so.

For anime distributor who make an Anime Trailer for a show to get the audience interested, here is a small tip you should follow up. Please don't make an anime trailer for a show you're trying to promote just by showing the intro OP for the anime as it won't give us any idea of what the show really is. Start to notice most anime trailer is basically Anime OP of the show which doesn't help me to either like the show or not. Kinda miss those anime trailer which try to get the attention of the audience to watch the show.
Kinda weird to pop this up but man....kinda hard to get me interested in a show if they isn't something to get my attention.

I really didn't expect it to have so many scenes that give me feels.
Like I thought it was just some goofy show but god damn. It's so much more. Can't believe I hated it for no reason before.

Oh One Piece has a lot of feels, it's much more than being a funny series. It contains a lot of good emotional scenes that made me sad as fuck. Man I can't wait till you reach the Drum Island arc which starts at episode 78 because man is it really bittersweet.
Yeah the artstyle is a bit hard to get use to, but once you do you start to appreciate it more.
Well the animation started to really dip after the Timeskip which is more than half of the total episode count.

I actually really like the artstyle, it's just that every screen I came across would have a wildtake face and I assumed it was some long-running battle comedy series which I really wasn't interested in watching at all.

If you want to watch a show about martial arts Arcadius, then I would definitely recommend checking out Senran Kagura. Come for the action, stay for the yuri.
