Euphonium 12

The yuri dream is over.

Now we have a better and improved dream: Kumiko x Euphonium.

The part were
Kumiko leaves hanging Reina about sensei to get the toy was priceless

Lovely show and lovely episode. I'm hardly an expert at this matter but I would swear the animation was specially good in this episode, it was a joy to watch and to listen.

Holy Crap, how did this one escape me? It sounds pretty intersting... Maybe the one and only summer romance out there?

Akagami no Shirayuki-hime:
Synopsis:
Shirayuki was a young girl born with unique apple-red hair. She meets a famous but foolish Prince Raji, who falls in love with her at first sight and orders her to become his concubine. With nowhere else to go, Shirayuki cuts her hair and escapes to a neighboring country. While traversing through the forests, she meets a young boy, Zen, who helps her after she boldly cures his wounds but then gets poisoned by an apple given to Shirayuki. Meanwhile, Prince Raji sends out henchmen to search for her. What will happen to Shirayuki? What is Zen's true character? A refreshing fantasy story between an optimistic heroine and a prince who constantly stays on her watch

Euphonium - 12

Euphonium has certainly surprised me. I didn't expect this would be one of the shows I would enjoy the most this season, and maybe even this year.
This was a great episode, and it made Kumiko grow a lot in my eyes. Seeing her hard at practice and committing herself to improve was nice.

There were also plenty of moments that tickled my fancy. Like Taki identifying weakness on the spot. Kumiko practicing by the stream, and getting accompanied from the other side. Natsuki goofing with Ribbon. Taki saying he hasn't forgotten what Kumiko said, and so on.
What stood out to me the most though was Kumiko running, shouting to improve, and realizing how Reina felt.

Me: Let's check that cooking anime of the red haired man.

*First five minutes, squid tentacles rapes metaphorically a teenager*

Me: aha...

Later episodes are a lot tamer. The first episode is easily the most lewd. Meat in later episodes is also pretty lewd I guess.

haha, not that I have much a problem with it but it really took me by surprise.

I liked the first episode, seems like a fun show and liked how "epic" was the cooking part. Some fighting shonen could take notes!

It's only going to get better then. Soma was easily the suprise of the season for me. Enjoy!

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Episode 28

Fantastic duel against Dick Pit. Yusei fighting for his friends and able to come back from 100LP was good (thought not as good as Yuma at 1LP). Dark Signer plot is so good so far.

Trigger just sent out the last shipping address confirmation email for LWA 2. So this means they'll be shipping the rewards pretty soon.

I just got an email from them too. ITS HAPPENING!

The AnimeSols guy said it's for tax reasons. Better to not make any money than to pay taxes I suppose.

Also, I think I'm the only one who finds it funny that Nintendo is basically releasing a DTL version of Fire Emblem and a SDBurton version of Fire Emblem.
(While you have to pay to be bisexual by getting the third story DLC. :p)

Yeah I understand it but its still really wasteful :(

How many days till Non Non Biyori?

Too many! I dont want to wait for the cute!

LOL, confusing but fun. Imagine the "situations" the competition, the drama, the feels, lol.

Damn, that is a great breakdown, Thank you!

It's at the top of so many lists.......

Yeah, this arc has a LOT of that brat Madoka. She needs to be torn a new one....
Rumbling hearts got very melodramatic really quickly. I mean, in a freaky kind of way....

Millennium is on my list since I've heard it is really good. Hopefully, I'll get to it shortly.

Alrighty then, sounds good.

Madoka is definitely a brat but shes not despicable at least.

It really changes to more 'life-changing moments'-flashbacks for characters and unlikely metaphors that are played for jokes .

Nodame Cantabile
Itazure na kiss

It's so bad, it doesn't pop up om MAL yet, lol

I always forget about my Hulu list, bit I'll watch it soon.
I'm gonna go ahead and rep Dusk Maiden of Amnesia since it seems to be going sadly overlooked. The show tells an interesting story and presents an actual romance that actually develops and grows during the course of its run. The direction is strong and there's a lot of very imaginative shots. Really, the way it manages to elevate itself above its source material and obvious budget issues is commendable as it could've easily turned out a lot worse. Also, it has a fantastic soundtrack.

Also also, drop everything else and watch Millenium Actress ASAP.

Sorry, there is some fat guy in the way, I can't see anything about that one...
LOL here is the description:

A romantic comedy set in a near-futuristic world about the troubles and tribulations of high schoolers on salary. With aims to one day reach out into the stars, humanity has colonized all the planets of the solar system. This story of young high school hopefuls is set in Fourth Tokyo in a Japanese Martian prefecture. Iris Shirasaki is a third year student/aspiring test pilot. Mizuki Sera is her peer/mechanic and Mizuki's brother Kaito is their homeroom teacher and the young director of the program developing their talents.

Boy, the producers of Under the Dog sure are quick to throw the entire Kickstarter team under the bus... lol.

http://www.siliconera.com/2015/06/22/under-the-dog-getting-an-anime-kickstarter-back-on-track/

From their perspective, it sure sounds like Yura made a total mess of things!

The VA thing was always stupid. Why the fuck are English fans choosing a Japanese VA?

This whole thing has just been a disaster. They should have just gone down the traditional route in regards to production but then, I guess it wouldn't have been funded in the first place.

Didn't they say they were offered traditional funding to do this project as a TV series, but rejected it because they wanted to keep it free from creative interference or whatever?

There are no standalone Blu-rays? Don't tell me they're keeping Blu-ray hostage for the collectors edition?
I liked the show but I ain't willing to pay that much.
Unfortunately I think that is the case. The CE is just an import of the one in the US that NIS America are releasing, so when/if NIS America release a Standard Set in the US, then the UK may get that. Maybe. It's MVM, it's how they roll, they don't do that stuff in house so they only release something on Blu-ray if somebody else chips in with the costs etc. In any case, as with most of these things, the committee restrict what they can release, on what format and at what price so maybe that has a play too.

Amazing intro episode. Unfortunately after that they crank it back down a few notches.

Rumbling Hearts ep. 7-END
Alright, you guys were right…. (sorry for tone here, lol)
Is it bad, that by the end of the series, my favorite character in the whole thing is not a main character? (I can recognize her VA, that must be why..) She is also your Chitoge clone and is a tsundere as well. The intereactions with her and the MC were the best part of the show. At the begining they were pointless and felt out of place, but by the end, I really looked forward to them.
Honestly, they should have really made it a love tri-angle for the MC and had him stray off with her. That would have made much more sense... Also, if this was a VN, I would have gone her route, because let's be real, no drama with that mama.
The rest of the series, Melodramatic, um, yeah, very much so… I mean, It started off promising, with a little drama, a big tragedy and compelling adult themes. It also delt with life outside of school and growing up and I was pretty happy with it, then…. the whole love tri-angle, brainless MC and warped plot started to fry my brain after a while. I mean, WTF. The ending was anti-climactic as hell after they mega-build up this big dramatic ending to happen, then bam; it’s over. It’s not what I expected from the ending at all and was really disappointed at its lameness. Ugghh, OK, so now that I’m angry at the moment…. I’ll have to watch an episode of SABAGEBU! to cheer me back up..

I was referring to something along the lines of LWA2 in that they just did their own thing.

However yes they did reject a traditional funding method so they can instead get creative interference from the fans.

Is it me or does that card look wierd? It's not even a rectangle anymore.
Also, Dick Pit... really?
He's just holding it sideways.
And yeah Dick Pit lol. Don't remember that detail but I did nearly burst out laughing at the name. I remember Dark Signer arc being a high point for the series though.

How much creative freedom do you need for a sexy girl beats bad boys in a near future Sci fi world anime? I would claim that you get it greenlighted just fine in a more traditional way.

That quote, too sad. So much of GAF is going to be down.

Will without a doubt watch Plastic Memories later in time.

There's been another (or was it 2?) instance of that squid tentacle crap but fortunately since forgotten, though I don't doubt it'll rear it's ugly head again. Anyways, that is the very low point of the show and it's otherwise one of the better dumb fun anime I've seen and the food porn is far above that other Shaft show that no one needed to care about!
