OreGairu hasn't been delayed. It's just that TBS shows rarely get a simulcast time that's super close to when the show airs. (That is, on Thursdays.) If you consider that the case, then it's been "delayed" all season. I, personally, watch it and Re-Kan when CR gets them because I'd rather support the official streams.

For the other case, that might have more to do with the down to the wire nature of anime production closing in on the end of the season, making it so that materials come in later.

(And while I'm talking about TBS Thursday shows, yes Re-Kan's "finale" of sorts was episode 12. Episode 13 would be a DVD-only bonus episode in any other occasion, but is airing on TV because they have the time slot to do so. It's been like this for a long time. Thank you, and enjoy it.)

Honestly why are some people making the Yuri undertones or whatever you want to call it such a big deal. It's not like this is the first time KyoAni has done this because they have done this numerous times. Is there something I'm not understanding? Personally I dropped the show more than half way through (I understand why people think the series is good though) because I couldn't find it enjoyable but if you want actual Yuri then watch an anime that caters to that. Yeah it sucks that Euphonium bait's at times but this isn't the first time it has happened with a KyoAni series.

Holy crap. This episode just totally made this show go all the way up on my list for this season. The action? The beautiful animations? The fucking twist right at the end?! And guess what, this was just the beginning, because there is still a lot of things left unanswered and unresolved. Absolutely mindblowing this episode. Now to wait for a bunch of years to get a season 2 :(

There are many reasons people are going to go volcanic on this shit in a few days. Some people legit got hooked on watching Eupho on the premise of yuri for starters; like it or not, there is an emotional investment here and to have either no pay off or the wrong pay off is going to rightly piss people off.

I really should stop watching this anime when I'm hungry. This was another solid episode that introduced two new character who will probably make Soma's life hell. A new contender for best girl has arrived. I still love you Megumi!

Yeah I understand that but some people who are looking for Yuri should know that KyoAni does this with many of their shows. It's not a shocker for it to suddenly not have a payoff for what their looking for because it's not Yuri to begin with.

Well, to be fair, Yuri has been in Tamako, Kyoukai, Chuunibyou Ren, and now Euphonium. It's safe to say it's a more recent development.

It doesn't work that way and not everybody is that familiar with Koyto Animation practices, I am note going to blame the audience here since Kyoani framed things in that fashion.

This is the best girl you should be watching out for, but too bad her best arc with Soma won't be animated in this season. Her chemistry with Soma was so godamn amazing.

Mugi literally had yuri goggles in universe for S1 but that's about it. Believe it or not, the anime tones it down from source material (and is better for it, imo)

I'm a sucker for albino looking characters in anime so I already like her. She's already better than the annoying Erina.

At first, the set up wasn't really clicking for me. But the more I watched, the more I got attached to the set up and characters, and eventually I thought yeah I could definitely watch an entire season of this.

Everything I know about this anime is a lie.

. The last shot of him with Aiz while Hestia, Lili and Loki are being fended off by both was cute.

This season was what 5 volumes of content? Volume 9 is said to come out in September so it might not be that long before we get another season...I hope :(

Sad to see the anime end like this when shit started getting crazy. Bell's getting to OP status now which isn't to surprising I guess. This was a solid anime that I hope gets a second season someday.
