Yup I made a char on the first server and it crashed on me, then trying to relog and I'm stuck in the same state

The NDA is still in place. As big as this weekend's round of invites is, and with how many leaks there have already been in general, I have honestly no idea why.

Non-working driver is 11.8
Working driver is 11.9 and 11.10

I really not want to read sth like "Smuggler Storye Ends with...."

To clarify:

The handshake between client and server is timing out hence why no one is getting to the server select. All you can do is keep trying.

If there's one thing I can say about the leakers, it's that they have been generally good about not leaking story details.

If you didn't get a link in your e-mail, you're not in this weekend's test.

There was a general wave of invite notification sent out to everybody who's ever signed up notifying them that they will all be in a future test. I even got it - I've been in Beta since June.

i had that same problem, updated my video card drives and it fixed it

Updated drivers - still have the Star Wars Logo with the moving gear - though it is moving faster now i guess...

Friend of mine finally got in AND got a second invite for a future weekend.

Then I get an invite for a future weekend as well, my second. This will be interesting, I think we're going to coop the entire experience on that weekend.

loading screen = queue, stay in it.
If you are currently stuck on the loading screen with the SWTOR logo and spinning loading wheel, you are in the queue for your selected server, even though you see no indication that you are in the queue. At this time, we recommend that you do not close the game, and wait until you are loaded into the server. Once you are able to enter the server, you can then select another server if you wish.

Someone posted a fix saying that if you disconnect from the internet while on that screen it'll take you to an empty serverbrowser and then you can reconnect and you'll be on the server browser again.

During weekend beta, almost no one is going to get to even see open world pvp situations so it doesn't matter. Its not till higher levels do you get to shared faction areas

Yay for rotating cog. I saw that was in 4k in a queue, and decided to try and switch servers, and now all I see is the cog, sweet.

go to

C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\SWTOR\betatest\logs

and click on the latest log file and scroll to the bottom and it will say position: to see where you are in the logo screen queue

Under the same folder in Betatest -> settings there are three files - one of which has your "last played shard"....

can't we change that too?
