All the new builds have been huge. I'm surprised how fast they are releasing them. Builds this size used to have months in between, but I think this build is a couple weeks. Guess they are on their final push before release.

If you have a Bioware Social Network account check your messages box on the site. It seems they are sending Beta keys to a lot of people on there. Just got one myself.

They also are opening up a high level server where any character will be auto lvl 40 when you join it. Assume this wont be available to the weekend testers?

Oh shit, they're fixing my biggest problem with the beta, which was without a doubt the sluggishness and poor use of the ability queues.

So it seems like the rumors are saying the massive beta is going to be over Thanksgiving weekend, I don't know how I feel about this. If it is true, I feel sorry for the devs in Austin that will be stuck at work during the holiday to keep everything running.

With the game this close to release, I imagine that was going to be the case regardless.

Yea I guess that's true, after reading the patch notes it seems like these guys are working around the clock. Hope it all works out :)

Also, anyone notice that the patchnotes say the Pre Order Vendors are in game? Does anyone know what they do?

And for the first time, 2 raids.

I hope all the people who were worried about endgame are satisfied now. 2 raids, heroic modes for ALL flashpoints, and then you got pvp with warzones and open pvp worlds. Very solid amount of endgame content at launch.

good, believe it or not I was pissed about that. It made the environments with the lounges etc useless.

Probably gives you the pre-order color stone. I'm guessing it's a vendor that will only be available in beta in order to test the item out and make sure it's working before launch.

I know the game hasnt come out yet but the private guild forum at swtor.com doesnt have a lot of activity on it. Are we gonna use those more once the game launches or should we just talk here?

Right now there's no real reason to use the guild boards. Maybe if we want to keep something secret from the damn Imps we will.

Its the VIP vendors for those who buy the ce, also the VIP area is in the beta.
