Tried a Consulate earlier today.. Enjoyed him.

Tried a Smuggler just now.. It took far less time to get the Smuggler up in lvls then the Consulate .. Bleh. Its an interesting way of fighting (Only lvl 5) but I'm not liking it as much as the Jedi as it really relies heavily on the whole 'Cover' system.

I think I have a bugged character. I cannot get my Jedi Knight on Cosmic Turbine to log in at all, ever other character on that server can log in.

Had that happen today. It's probably just server full.

Keep hammering it until you get in. Someone's gotta log off.

I've been playing the Jedi starting area and the difference in FPS between it and Korriban are night and day. I'm getting a good 30-40 FPS in Typhon and a slideshow in Korriban.

Rift also runs like shit. You seem to be forgetting that this is a MMO and being accessible is a huge factor.

Rift ran flawlessly for me any I dont exactly have a cutting edge PC anymore.

I agree though, I the fluidity of all the animations in Rift is what is needed in TOR

Really strange. For some reason I have a stuck pixel in the game, and only in this game. Everything else is fine.

It even shows up in screenshots I take with fraps.

I'm now noticing this in everyone's screenshots. It's even in mine (notice in the text entry area of the chat box):

Also clearly visible in Thoraxes' screenshot:

Anyone getting this issue? I can log into the launcher, and press play - but it doesn't launch the game. It's stuck at the launcher with Play grayed out. I've tried resetting the computer and running it as admin but its not working.

Same problem... except I never forgot or changed my password. At first, it was asking me to answer the security question because "it didn't recognize my pc"... even though it's the same one. Now it doesn't even give me that prompt anymore, but it still won't let me log in until I answer the security question.

btw I'm also getting the same vague question What is your favorite activity? every single time. I'm pretty sure I never answered that.

Yeah it eventually completely locked my account down because I kept trying to answer a security question that I never answered to start with during the last mandatory password change.

I can't log in to anything now. It tells me I must contact customer service to get my account unlocked. And every time I call that toll-free number, the bitch tells me everyone's busy, call back later, then hangs up on me.

I sent an email but shit.. we all know I won't get a response by the end of this weekend, if ever.

Off to a good start with this game. Its going to be fucking chaos for weeks while they try and sort all these launch problems out. If people's accounts are getting fucked up because they can't get the security/log-in process correct, I can only imagine the complete clusterfuck that's will ensue, once people actually can get into the game.

It's nice to see that not only is the bug where the game just randomly makes you unable to click on UI elements is still there in this build, but it's even worse in that hiding and then showing the UI by hitting Alt+Z no longer fixes it.

Is there a /logout chat command? I didn't actually try and it was forced to end task the game to exit, since I couldn't click the UI at all.

Probably because its ctrl+u, not alt+z

What is the equivalent of deleting your WTF folder in WoW here? Every time I try to start the game now, it makes my monitor give me a message about not being in optimum mode or some shit.

I can't seem to log into either of my characters from the previous weekend. Beyond that, I'm glad to be playing again. Rolled up a Bounty Hunter and an Imperial Agent; love the BH (Spike Spiegel, bitches!) and the plot for IA so far.

Well, that did it for me. I just canceled my preorder. I had so much faith in the game, been following this since 2008.

With only 3 beta week-ends, I got bored and I must admit I simply don't see myself paying each month for this. The game's not bad at all, but it seems to get repetitive a lot early. Story's great and all, but if I want to play a video game with a good story, there's already a lot of choices without monthly fees.

Ooooor maybe I'm just bored with the classic MMO concept. So if that's the case... Let's hype Guild Wars 2! :)

As Sartre noted in his contemplation on Hell in No Exit, the true horror is other members.

Was told by some friendly folks to use alt+f4 to quit since I couldn't quit or log out.

Okay game is a lot better looking with the ini fixes and it's also performing up to standard now.

Only problem is the horrendous pop in, it's so terrible. Things literally popping in and out right near my character

I'm calling it now, Empire has better stories and missions compared to the Republic. Sith Warrior so far obliterates JK on the story front. I'm blown back by how much better the writing is.

Seriously the Jedi got the shit end of the writing stick.

Sith Warrior has some amazing storylines. I'm interested to see the other storylines because it's supposedly not even the best one.

Got the invite email, downloaded the setup.exe, but it's telling me I need an active SWTOR subscription.

Can I not even start downloading the game client (which will be a miracle on my terrible internet) until the official start time of 10:00 AM CST?

I'm just so confused, it's like Bioware's B-team did the Republic stuff and the A-team did the Imperial. I was expecting the morality choices to be full of kick the puppy stuff instead I had to EXPLAIN why I made the choice that I did.

I seriously pity the people who are going into the Jedi stuff now.

Some of the bugs you guys are talking about I've never seen before this build. This has been buggier than it has been in the past. Not sure if that's a bad thing or not.

Yep, my MMO addiction is back in full swing. Played this from server launch to maintenance, hah, got to 15 on my Powertech. Good times. Really enjoying myself.

Its a good game... but >.< I dunno.

I think they just copied wow too much, so the new stuff, the story and characters... they cant really undo the 6 years of wow I already played, which I got bored of.

But I like the combat, it feels nice, the stories can be good, the choices kinda feel.... inconsequential. The quests and stuff are pretty much identical, get quests, go do them, come back reward... its just abit, stale. There is no dynamism to it.
