The beta build on the show floor runs like butter because they it isn't connecting to the beta servers. It is connecting to a server they bring to E3, and hook up nativly. It also has all the debug stuff and various other things not installed.

The beta as it is currently, runs fairly choppy. I have a brand new Sandy Bridge machine and get some stuttering.

You are right, the difference in performance isn't huge from the standard beta, to launch. But this is basically alpha. Even though the game is very near complete.

There were less then 40 people on the beta servers last night, and even during peak, I have not seen it go over 200. Considering there are 1.5 million people opting in. This shouldn't even classify as a closed beta.

I wasn't referring to network stability, I was referring to your local performance on your machine. Judging by what's on the show floor the game is running like butter, you could have all of the latency in the world and it wouldn't affect your FPS. It doesn't matter if 1 person or 1 million people were connected, your FPS would be identical.

I will be all over this game as soon as its released and i will be setting up many guild related events and trying to keep everyone involved. I know me and Czar have talke about doing some inter-guild stuff if possible.

It is imperative we get GAF Republic and GAF Empire to a public location for a cheerleader style back and forth ASAP after launch.

I had to update java for the scanner to work. So try that if your scanner isn't working. It also took a few tries as well.

The only thing beta testers are allowed to talk about is whether or not they're in the beta. I don't mind more information, but BioWare has been watching this thread, so better keep it to yourself for now. It seems only about 1000 new invites went out in the past few days, so you guys can count yourself lucky!

I might have been covered in this thread but I can't get the active x app to run a system scan on my computer. I have Win7 an i7 processor, SSD drive and a 460GTX videocard. I wondering what's wrong. I read that you need to update java but I'm running the current version.
