Any tips for cool community mods i NEED to play?

No idea how to but i really want to try out some cool stuff

Im most interested to see how the mod scene will develop.

Will we just get copies of SC/WC3 maps or will it evolve fast to be something more then what it was? Does it look like it would be possible to import WC3 files into this?

Mass Recall is a mod of SC2, so it has all the basic functionality changes of SC2 including unit selection.

Definitely something they should've had enabled by default for remaster owners. Glad it works though!

Well for me personally it started off in HD mode by it's self already, btw you can press F5 to switch between SD and HD at any time, even in the menus.

Nope, it's not multiplayer only, and for me it was automatically set, if not, there will be an option in the options menu to activate them/turn them off.

It's under the Game section.

The Architect RPG

This was just released a week ago, and it's probably the best RPG map you'll ever play. No exaggeration.

That being said, hold off on downloading it for now. The creator updated it today to add some new features, but it looks like something may have broken the leveling system. I reached out to him to let him know, but he's in a totally different timezone. Hopefully it'll be a quick fix and re-upload tomorrow.

It is free now. Been since late April actually, though only now added to Battle.net app.

The Remaster version costs $15, and i think some things, like matchmaking may be tied to it. Not sure exactly what though.

Im fairly certain they said non Remaster players can play with people who just bought the Remaster

EDIT Cheating is almost certainly one reason for this, along with smurfing and stuff like that. Entry price does deter casual idiocy a bit.

I noticed that at first and it turned out game speed was switched back to normal. Turn it right up and it looks right. Other than that I haven't noticed any jank.

UMS (custom maps) are alive and well, everyone. Look at US East right now and note the size of the scroll bar.

Playing Brood War custom maps in windowed mode with HD visuals in 2017. Brings a tear to my eye.

Since I kind of sucked at playing SC2 back in the day, what cheats should I be utilizing to get past the harder missions in SC1? Just the ones that gives bonus gas/minerals?
