I just want DR1 on Steam sooo bad.Dice said:I wanted DR2 until I found out about the time limits. That's just not how I play games.

And fuck YOU FOR DEFENDING HATS.

fake rage, but my point is completely valid
Better example: GAF TF2 server being locked on a fucking Halloween map for days straight because a bunch of morons want to farm 9 paper bag masks to craft 1 paper bag mask.
Ookami-kun said:That's a matter of the people though, not the game itself.

Thanks for the adviceJaseC said:This. $45 gets you Deus EX: HR on its own, while $54 gets you the Augmented Edition with the additional content and the original Deus Ex.
Since Deus Ex: HR is Steamworks, you can order it from Direct2Drive
You should be using those bits and bytes to tell people to play Counter-Strike where they belong.LaserBuddha said:You should be using these bits and bytes to point people toward BC2 where they belong.

Probably Origin. Ideally BF3 will show up on Steam within 3 months after release. I think that's about how long NFS Hot Pursuit took.pauljeremiah said:Does anyone know when Battlefield 3 is going to be available to pre-order on Steam? or will I have to go and download Origin for the pre-order?
My favorite thing to do in my brief counterstrike (source?) playtime was to spend all my money to buy the super heavy machine gun, the one that's also in Mirror's Edge and has the handle on top.XeroSauce said:CoD, I feel like I can control the engagement better. BC2, I feel like a squad (usually). Counter-Strike just makes me feel bad.

1-D_FTW said:I would expect day 1 (right after pre-order bonuses have expired). I don't really see the point in holding out. If EA runs a sale before launch, I'll just cave and pre-order through EA. You're gonna have to run Origins anyway, so mine as well get the pre-launch goodies and save a couple bucks if possible. I'm as anti-EA as they come with regards to their Steam shenanigans , but I'm in the acceptance phase at this point.
You can make a section called whatever you want, add the mac games to it, and then minimize the section3chopl0x said:Well you can't actually install the mac ones it will just give you an error.
Is it sad that this is stopping me from buying the games? I just don't think my OCD can deal with it.

coopolon said:Have they said this is the case with BF3 that you'll have to run it through the Origin client? That would be very disappointing because that's basically the only thing they are doing better than Steam right now - not requiring a client after the download.
If you're on a PC, the one it'll let you install is the PC version. For me it's the first listing for each. Dunno if it's the same for everyone.Ookami-kun said:I confused, which among the two Civ names are the PC and the MAC?
Stupacabra said:I used to love Civ 2 as a kid, but haven't played a game in the series since then - is Civ 4 worth a pick up? They haven't changed it to an RTS or something, have they?
For me is the second one in thumbnail list and bottom on normal list.Ookami-kun said:I confused, which among the two Civ names are the PC and the MAC?
1-D_FTW said:I have no idea how intrusive it's going to be. I'm assuming server lists and friends lists are going to be incorporated through Origins, so intrusive enough for me. I think EA understands this is their Half-Life 2 and they're going to imbed as much functionality as they can. BF3 is their Trojan Horse and they seem to know it.
The first one is Mac and second one is PC.Ookami-kun said:Hmmm so... either?
Ookami-kun said:Ahh okay.
Another question - why does the store always displays PEGI rating even though Steam uses USD?

If it's fairly beefy it runs great and looks amazing.

Yea i put 200+ hours into the xbox 360 version but I feel like I could do another play through and enjoy it. It's funny the whole time I was watching my friend go through LA Noir we wouldn't stop talking about GTA IV and how awesome it was, made me want to go back and play it.

He'll be able to have them all up to nearly max, if not max, and get over 30fps with that rig.1-D_FTW said:It'll be pretty on that set-up. Just understand the console versions were running on really low settings. So don't go thinking the port is a failure when you can't run with the sliders cranked to 100. You can dial those sliders way down and still have it destroy the console versions.
You better buy that shit through Amazon instead. Don't give EA 100%.1-D_FTW said:I would expect day 1 (right after pre-order bonuses have expired). I don't really see the point in holding out.
