Steam Autumn Sale 2015 thread of waiting for the Winter Sale

The sale seems like it's bringing out some solid discounts on some good titles that I've had sitting in my wishlist for a while.

I'm actually okay with the "no sales gimmick" type sales like this - nothing but good deals. I'm loving hearing everyone's recommendations, keep um coming.

I'm not too impressed outside of 70% off of Ys. Different tastes and all that.
Will be interesting to see how they run a holiday sale for so long with no new prices though.

Does the winter sale normally have better discounts? There are a few things i'd like to get that are at an alright price. It's still disappointing without daily deals or flash sales, though.

WOW. That's pretty shitty. I mean I get they're trying to entice people into doing the mobile two-factor, but still. That won't help with the knives in CS:GO, Volvo. :|

Also this sale has no Assassin's Creed title I want on my wishlist on sale, therefore this sale sucks.

Fuck Volvo and their lack of dailies. :| *table flips*

I'm seeing a lot of good discounts as things are coming through. Wishlists, again, are generally behind the updates on store pages. Seeing some stuff I sat on for a while but should just pull the trigger on like the previously noted Wolfenstein New Order.

Let me see, buying Terra Nova and Inherent the Earth for 1.50 USD each and that is probably going to do it for me since I am trying to limit the amount of backlof I pick up during one of these sales.

No far cry 4 sale ? Franchise pack 50% off but not individually for f4

Hmm, Endless Legends is on my wish list and it's 66% off. Debating whether I should get this now or wait for the Winter Sale.

I do have the Bloodborne DLC to get through... Maybe I'll wait.

Yeah it will for some titles, but most other will have a repeat sale.

here is a tip: don't buy a game that you won't play within the next few weeks, otherwise it may get a cheaper discount during the holiday sale all the while you didn't even touch it.

Are any of the DMC games on sale? At work so can't check it atm.
yes

I'm also kinda curious, though I suspect we'll just see different "featured" deals on the homepage is all.

I strongly suspect the lack of dailies was 100% motivated by the fact that Steam refunds are now a thing. I had held out some hope that this wasn't the case (and that they had something else up their sleeves) but it appears now that it was probably the sole motivating factor.

Kinda sad, but understandable.

the 5-33% off community market items is just sad

I tried it for fun , cuz ive been looking for a knife for cs go , the discounts are like maybe MAYBE 3-4% , havent seen anything even near 33% lol

its also incredibly annoying the code changes all the time on your phone like an RSA token.

Bought Ikaruga with steam funds - had to input the code too , yea , fuck steam guard mobile

Ugh , disabling this already

Get Ori people; at least watch the trailer.

I might be in for Talos Principle and planning on Undertale for some Thanksgiving gaming.
