Steam Autumn Sale 2015 thread of waiting for the Winter Sale

I think I've found all the entries on my wishlist which definitely crossed into "buy" territory.

Some others I still need to think about, but I have almost a week for that.

Get Ori people; at least watch the trailer.
Yep, do that.

Got enough games on my plate at the moment, but there seems to be some good deals going on. At least on my wishlist.

All our stuff is dirt-cheap in case anyone hasn't bought them yet.

Cthulhu Saves the World + Breath of Death VII bundle for $0.50.
Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 & 4 bundle for $0.55.

How did you miss strider for a dollar during the capcom bundle.

Not sure about that title. Winter sale will be just as bad.

Generally during the most recent years Steam has only been good for the meta game that happens during their sales, and without those, GreenManGaming, G2A, Amazon, and other various websites are far better.

no one buy anything so they bring back dailies
Already ahead of you there. These discounts are lame in general. 50% off Far Cry 3? Ubi, pls. It's been 75% off in past sales and I didn't even buy it then. I'm sure as hell not going to buy it now. That's just one example. GG Volvo, you've ruined the holidays. I hope you're happy.

Ori for £8.99, worth it? Likely to get cheaper in Xmas sale?

Alien Isolation a decent price too, tempted to give another go as I gave up on it early on Ps4

Skyrim - Dragonborn FINALLY on sale for 75% instead of 66%.

No Undertale sale ;_;

Skyrim DLC waited to long to hit 75%. I have no interest in the game anymore, how they handled the GOTY/DLC stopped me from buying any DLC for that game.

Don't get Ori. I doesn't even have the decency to get down to 50%, and it's getting a Definitive Edition which existing owners will have to buy. So wait unless you want to buy the same game twice...

On the other hand, the Definitive Edition is a separate app, so the original release will likely be yanked when the DE releases. If you happen to care about that sort of thing, now is the time to buy.

So will there be new deals each day or do i buy them now? I is confused.

Read the OP. ;)

All the Ys games are on sale. I highly recommend Ys Origin if you didn't get it yet; it's the 3D (yes, 3D, not 2D) Castlevania game I can always recommend.

Are you sure there is anyone who cares about that other than you? ;)

Not to be that guy, but it's just to know for money purposes: when's the winter sale going to be, presumably?

But on this one, looks like I'm getting at least 10 things off my wishlist!

Endless Legend: Complete for twenty bucks is an insanely good offer. Anyone remotely interested in the 4X genre should be on that. Jumped on it for thirty on a whim a while ago, and it's probably one of my favourite strategy games ever made.

I was honestly expecting a deeper discount for The Talos Principle expansion since the base game is 66% off.

Other than that, I might grab a few Shoot 'em ups if they're on sale.

I assume one shouldn't buy Elite Dangerous now because the expansion pack will include the base game once it is released but it will cost almost full price to existing owners, right?

hmm, interested in getting this questions answered, elite is in my cart now...

edit: looks like you get a 15 dollar discount if you pre-order Horizons, which would make ED essentially free as long as you commit to the expansion
