Steam Autumn Sale 2015 thread of waiting for the Winter Sale

Anyone here recommend any of the RE Revelations 1 DLC?

Is it worth it? Just in case you need info - I'm not interested that much in the MP portion of the game.

How's Elite Dangerous these days? Same with Reflex?

My wishlist disappeared, this happen to anyone else? Super annoying as I just went through adding games last night in anticipation of the sale...

Steam is not doing well with the volume, it seems. I can't get anything to load now on the mobile app, including the wish list.

None of the Revelations 1 DLC is needed. It's all for Raid mode and even then it's not very impressive. If you have to get any of them the characters if they interest you are the best things there.

I held back, somewhat. My biggest purchase was the Assassin's Creed Unity/Rogue package at $34.99, followed by 50% off Way of the Samurai 4. Then picked up the two LEGO Harry Potter games for my son to play on the Steam Link, at $4.99 each.

Everything else was more tempting but ehh...I can live without for now. $57 and change and the damage has been contained.

Was hoping for deals on Wasteland 2 or Divinity:Original Sin EE, or a better deal on GTA V and Minecraft Story Mode. I can wait.

Heads up Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is on sale for the first time in years and it probably won't go on sale again. Pick it up on Steam now if you want it on the PC.

I dunno, this sale seems pretty solid to me

85% on Wolfenstein
70% on all Ys
85% on The Evil Within
75% on Alien Isolation
50% on Witcher 3 to match GOG
50% on Grandia II
Telltale stuff all dirt cheap
Obligatory Spec Ops and Metro "might as well be free" discounts so I can finally pick them up

Would like to see something bigger on GTA and Shovel Knight, but I really can't complain when I'm already sitting here scratching my head on how to pare things down before I even start looking at the indies that really deserve a buy.

Yep, same. :/

Damn nice haul man, especially the Lego games. You're son will love them if he's played any of the others.

The Brothers in Arms games are actually on sale for once, generally they only receive a 25% off general sale discount.

Yeah something like this where they have no chance of showing up on the old front page as a featured sale really is helped by the no-featured sales anymore which is great. I mean if you didn't pick them up like 3 years ago when they had a chance to show up you might be screwed a bit.

Seems like a lot of titles aren't discounted (South Park - Stick of Truth, Far Cry 4), and other titles are somewhat higher than they've been before (The Sims 3 is almost twice what it's been before). Not really seeing anything that screams out OMG BUY so far...

Invisible, Inc is the best thing on sale

Grabbed Ys VI immediately. Meant to but it on release but couldn't rationalize it then, and now any cheaper might be criminal.

In for Wolfenstein. Don't think it'll be cheaper during Winter sale. I'll also grab Resi 6 I think. It's the cheapest price I can find, including keyshops.

Isn't Horizons next week including the base game? If that is the case I wouldn't bother buying Elite this time around.

The expansion will come soon... and it includes the base game. Owners of the existing game get only a small-ish discount (and an extra ship).

Great info, thanks!

what's going on with the wishlists right now? Can't access mine and games that are listed under it don't show up as so when I go to their store page.

Thinking of picking up some cheap Double Fine games, Stacking is $1. Grim Fandango is $3.75.

im bringing up the far cry 4 thing because the franchise pack which includes far cry 4 is 50% off all games invidually expect fary cry 4 also have discount, hella weird
