Steam Autumn Sale 2015 thread of waiting for the Winter Sale

Everyone who doesn't own these games and has even the slightest interest in RPGs owes it to themselves to get that. Seriously.

Fantastic value there.

Age of Wonders 3 is -75% off. Buy, buy! Best fantasy 4X on the market.

The DLC is great too, but it might be slightly cheaper during the Winter sale. (-50% vs -40%)
im bringing up the far cry 4 thing because the franchise pack which includes far cry 4 is 50% off all games invidually expect fary cry 4 also have discount, hella weird

There's a couple bundles that have weird pricing, with the individual games cheaper than the bundle itself. So watch out!

Alright guys, it's time for you to pay up!

Trails in the Sky: Second Chapter (SC) has its first Steam discount, 10%-off! XSEED and Carpe Fulgur spent four grueling years localizing the second part of Falcom's monstrously detailed JRPG, and now's your chance to return the favor. It runs well on toaster PCs and tablets, comes with free music (untitled, but you can get the .OGG tracks directly from your Steamapps folder), and launched with more polish and less bugs than First Chapter (FC), so you can dive right in. Expect ancient conspiracy, a syndicate hell-bent on hanging out in your home country, classic tropes revitalized, and plenty more!

Caution: you really should finish the story to FC before getting into SC, as the first game's ending sets the premise for the next. NPCs will remember you from the previous game if you start SC with clear save data from FC! You can also view this Let's Play if you need a refresher.

Posts below are quality recommendations as usual:

Every Ys game seems to be on sale for 70% off. Buy them, people!

Trails in the Sky FC is 50% off - $10
Trails in the Sky SC is 10% off - $27

you guys buy buy buy

BUY EVERY YS GAME, DO IT!

All the Ys games are on sale. I highly recommend Ys Origin if you didn't get it yet; it's the 3D (yes, 3D, not 2D) Castlevania game I can always recommend.

Finally, I wrote a Steam review for SC you might like (non-spoiler)
.

Anyone who hasn't played Tales From The Borderlands should definitely pick it up for $12.49, even if you don't like the other Borderlands games.

Probably my second favorite game of the year behind Life Is Strange

None of the Revelations 1 DLC is needed. It's all for Raid mode and even then it's not very impressive. If you have to get any of them the characters if they interest you are the best things there.

Thanks for the response!

I guess I'll just get the two raid characters.

Also just purchased Skullgirls Robo-Fortune n_n

For everyone asking about whether or not they should get Elite:Dangerous, let me try to clear up some of the questions.

Buying it at the current sale price gets you the full game now, without access to the expansion. The beta for the expansion releases next week, and we don't have a release date for the expansion itself yet because that depends on how the beta goes obviously. If you buy the game now then you'll get a 10% discount on Frontier's store for the expansion. If you wait for the expansion to come out then you can buy the expansion only and get access to the base game and the expansion. If you do it that way it will cost you 60$ for the full game and expansion but you won't get access to the game until the expansion releases. If you buy the game at the sale price and get the expansion separately, it'll still cost around 60.

So, I just blew my budget on the first day. Bought Ori, Ys 3 and Undertale, even if the latter isn't discounted. Only thing I might scratch money together might be The Old Blood but maybe I'll wait until winter.

The Steamspy numbers have dropped since then :(

Was looking at Life is Strange

The complete season pack is 13.39

each season by itself is 2.49

you save a dollar if you buy the episodes separately...... c'mon.

Hearing a lot of great thing about Trails in the Sky, but it's been a while since I've enjoyed a JRPG (Tales of Vesperia and Lost Odyssey were the last ones). Haven't enjoyed one since then. Is this something worth picking up despite a lack of interest in the genre?

This is again ubisoft attempting to pull people to uplay. It's on sale on uplay($15)...but not steam... -_- Its the worst.

The sad part is that it's not going to work, a large part of the PC userbase despise uplay and it's not going to change by doing that stuff :(

Quite surprised that there are actually some great discounts. I have noticed several games that I expected to be on sale. I'd take a guess those will wait for the Xmas sale

Tell me more, this game is tempting me. Is there enough players on it ?

Players is it's weak spot currently. US East server had around 50 on at a time. Granted the sale and that the 2.0 update a few weeks ago made a bunch of really positive changes it could of sky rocketed. Have not be on lately due to work schedule.
