I don't think any demo gives you achievements you can actually use for things like this. They're usually X Demo, separate from the main game in your list.

CoP is the least buggy. Clear Sky is the one that was bug ridden, but mods/patches have made all three S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games very playable.
