Thanks to the crappy AUD, I could sell my 980 for the price I bought it for back in March ($650), which has me toying with the idea of upgrading to a Ti (~$850 shipped from Amazon) -- but deep down I know I don't really need it, especially at 1080p. I'd happily go SLI if support weren't spotty these days. It's a shame as my pair of 2GB 670s served me quite well.

Well for me too 1080p is enough and if there is space downsample from 1440p. And GTX 970 is currently best choice. I can wait for Pascal but it will be at least 2-3 times more expensive then 900 series here at my place so there is no point waiting for Pascal for me (and no retailers won't lower prices for 900 series when Pascal comes here).

And who owns Atlus?

That's right Ages
Seem all Sega told to them after purchase is simply "we own your stock lol, just do your thimg"

No help for distribution, no order to atlus devs side for making sega game or other business decision.

I have no faith over this point.

I had to bump up my RAM to 12GB from 8GB for Unity (even with the help of RAM Map, 8GB was barely enough), so yes. I'm about to move up again to 16GB, which, in hindsight, I should have done back when I upgraded to 12GB -- but I should be able to make most of the money back by selling my current sticks.

How big of an improvement did you see? Because I have only 8gb now but have another 8gb on the way. My thinking was that there wouldn't be much of a difference in games but if it has that would be awesome.:D

Well, Unity went from eventually chugging due to running out of RAM to running just fine even with Waterfox being left open. IIRC, Unity's system RAM usage peaked at 5.5~6GB.

I honestly don't get the point of Visual Novels that look like this.

To make money with the least amount of effort/talent possible? Learning art takes too much time, and hiring a good artist cuts too deep into the profit margin. "Oh, but who's gonna buy a game with these shitty visuals?" you might ask. But some people out there will buy visual novels no matter how good or bad they are.

Undertale.
Undertale does sound good.
Shovel Knight is on sale atm over at Humblebundle I think.
There's also Kero Blaster.
Undertale
Risk of Rain
or Undertale
FTL

Hotline Miami

Hotline Miami 2

Papers Please

Broforce when its on sale
Part of me really wants to recommend Lisa but the game is super dark and depressing. Although the humor, charm, and soundtrack make up for it
Faster Than Light
Crypt of the Necrodancer
Binding of Isaac

HOTLINE FUCKING MIAMI 2
Thanks everyone.

Okay, I get it now.
Telltale games (well, TWD, TWAU and GOT at least) are torture porn.
Not the Tomb Raider visceral tendon and bone shots kind.
The emotional kind.
No other explanation comes to mind.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Steam has changed my currency from USD to the local one. I'm now getting horrific currency exchanges.

What the fuck! Will I get in trouble if I use a VPN to pay for shit on steam? Is it dangerous to use a free VPN app like ZenMate when dealing with personal information?

Most likely.

One thing I could suggest is seeing how much Traders over at Steamtrades are offering for games that interest you. If the conversin rate satisfies you just get it through them.
That's what I've been doing these past few months for new day 1-ish steam releases.

Don't know about you folks but I'd read The Cat in the Hat goes Super Siayan or How the Grinch Stole Gohan.

They should at least put it up in the windows app store. Though it's probably not compatible lol

I'm debating taking a punt on a copy off eBay, hope the GFWL codes haven't had all their activations used (though early titles you could swap keys around) and see if it plays well with newer OSes. Worst case scenario I imagine will be no achievements.

VP:TiP is the reason why I don't regret getting a 360, and the reason why I keep it, as someone who hates consoles and simulation like games, VP was a big surprise for me.

I've never played Trouble in Paradise but just picked up Rare Replay so that will be about to change very soon.

Telltale QTEs aren't that bad, heck the ones in BLands' aren't that hard to do.

It's a different type of art style? It's like asking why a Doctor Seuss book doesn't like like Dragon Ball.

It's not about the style, it's about the quality. It's like the artist didn't event tried to properly position the eyes.

The Visual part is supposed to enhance the novel, but if it looks like this you would've been better off writing a pure novel instead, if you ask me.

I don't like it either, but considering CLANNAD popularity, people does like the art style

its all subjective

Just finished Telltale's Game of Thrones. Thoroughly mediocre game. Although I did succeed in my goal of getting as many of the characters as possible killed, so at least there was a silver lining.

Can Valve put already an option to 'automatically cancel trade offers once you have no duplicates of the card'? Using , steamtradematcher to trade duplicates but i can only offer one person at a time because i don't want to have to multiple offers so if i go away and come back 2 trades could be completed and thus left without that card at all.

Freaking annoying to wait for those people to accept the offer one by one.

It is a pretty eh title, but a fair few Telltale titles are so I often ask myself if I'm asking too much of them, their writers, and their engine.

I tried to not kill people. Didn't work in my favour because well, GoT.

Until 1st December. Until then watch something new or Heaven forbid, play a game? :p

Play games? As if. We only talk about them here.

Half of us should just watch letsplays the way this thread works.

For you.
Is that really what the VN looks like? Wtf? You sure that isn't a prototype? I've always seen people praise Clannad's artstyle. What. I was looking forward to playing this too ;_;

Artstyle isn't the reason you should be playing Clannad anyways.

Clannad has always been kind of... an acquired taste art wise, to be nice, and that got transported into the anime adaption too, which is also... sort of an acquired taste.
The reason to read Clannad is to bully that dude, so Jaw should totally get it.

-----------

Only reason I'd buy a JoJo game would be if Jolyne Kujo was in it.

Who praised the art style? Key'S art always looks really weird, but the story has soul.
