The problem with Revenge of the Sith is that the first half was fine, 2nd half was rushed, like Anakin succumbing to the Dark Side was done way too quickly with limited expanding or build up from the previous film AT LEAST.

First movie has good and bad parts all meshed into one movie.

The 2nd movie, Attack of the Clones is my fav., I dislike the first half but the last hour is good.

I didn't feel like Anakin succumbing to the dark side was rushed. If anything it just showed how powerful and persuasive Palpatine really was. Made me appreciate his character even more when rewatching all the films.

Plus Anakin already kind of turned to the dark side in Attack of the Clones so it helped speed up the process in RotS.

No it doesn't, if people like the prequel trilogy, I really couldn't care less, enjoy what you enjoy.
I just dislike them and would not recommend them if one wants to 'catch up' to the Star Wars primary continuity. If one were convinced to watch them and end up liking them, then *shrugs* They do have some good stuff in them but their bad stuff compound on it.

Also get some good anime in yo life brah, starting with Cowboy Bebop & Samurai Champloo get some quality shows in yo life.

Fuck I need dat Samurai Champloo bluray someday =_=

I've seen them. I was joking for comedic affect. I like some anime, but I wouldn't call myself a fan in the way the fans that tend to take over the thread are.

This is bullshit, why can't my companions use the same caliber gun, they currently have, I gave them but completely upgraded and use their infinite ammo for it.

For anyone that lives in South America, there's currently a price error on the Call of Duty: Definitive Collection, which contains all the CoD games plus dlc except AW and BO3. It is $36.46 in Colombia.

Full list of countries this can be activated/played in:

Purchases made in Colombia can only be added to your library if you are in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Bahamas, Belize, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Paraguay, Suriname, El Salvador, Uruguay and Venezuela

Anyone from Colombia around? ;)

You mean like the way you make everything about Nintendo? I love Nintendo but that schtick is getting tiresome.

Oh I do? Looking at my post history for the Steam thread reveals that 90% of my posts here in the last week are about Steam. Whereas a majority of your posts are off-topic.

So what the fuck are you on about? Besides being absolutely offended by my post about Anime obsessives which clearly riled you up enough to create a false narrative in your mind since I don't see you bashing people who post about PS4 stuff in here

Just Cause has always had goofy, fun mechanics but everything surrounding them is terrible and fails to make use of them in any meaningful way.

Just checked your post history and you are right. I am wrong. Didn't mean to sound so dickish as it came out. I just noticed you would talk a lot about Nintendo but it was usually in a tongue in cheek joking way. I though it a bit hypocritical to say anime fans make everything about anime when you sometimes will pop in with some Nintendo stuff out of nowhere.
I'm well aware of my tendency to go off topic and that is something I'm trying to avoid because I know we can go off the rails in here. I was not offended at all I am probably a bigger Nintendo fan than an anime fan at this point. I apologize I was just stirring shit up when I should just not posted at all.

thank you, I am sorry if I was dickish as well.

no need to apologize for off topic, I don't care, I just thought it was weird that I was being called out for something off-topic related (talking about nintendo) when you were posting off topic stuff as well..

Regardless, please check out Devil's Third coming Exclusively to Wii U* on December 11, a day that shall live in infamy!

I was actually really intrigued by Devil's Third when is was first announced. Itagaki alone was enough to get me interested. That interest has quickly faded. Also I don't have a Wii U but wish I did so I can play Xenoblade Chronicles X coming December 4th exclusively to the Wii U. I might check out multi since it is free but yeah it's going to suck most likely.

The Commonwealth is littered with issues of Grognak which is exactly the last thing my character needs

I'm pretty bad at noticing that kind of things.
I missed you're special magazine on my house and the intelligence bobblehead in the museum. I've just noticed it after reading some stuff on the internet. And I'm pretty sure I've missed so many other things out there. Damn it, Bethesda.

I remember when Tony getting a deal for Toilet Tycoon resulted in it hitting the top 20 on amazon digital, and it wasn't even on Steam then. Tis an odd world.

I know a SteamGaffer who watched a german stream of 2 men sitting on toilets while playing toilet tycoon for at least an hour...

I imagine spending $60 on actual shit would be more satisfying

is Devil's Third really going to be $60? lmao

Just Cause has always had goofy, fun mechanics but everything surrounding them is terrible and fails to make use of them in any meaningful way.

I have only played Just Cause 2 and I thought that JC had goofy, fun ideas implemented in shitty mechanics and everything surrounding them was terrible and failed to use them in any meaningful or fun way. I mean that the whole game was terrible. Then again I only played the demo and then the actual game for around 5 hours much later when it was free on PSN.

Dunno if it got mentioned in the past few days, but there's a new Endless Legend update out that's pretty big. Plus some cheap DLC that adds new soundtracks and one that adds minor faction quests (both seem seem pretty skippable though).

Haven't had the chance to test any of it myself yet.

I can't go back to Endless Legend until they overhaul the combat. It's just unbearable in it's native state. (And no, autoresolve isn't an answer.) Even janky sorta slow combat like in Elemental: Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes would be better than its current poor-man's "Tactical Civ" combat.

This reminds me that I should catch up with Age of Wonders 3's developments... and it appears to be mod support-related stuff, currently. One day Triumph will announce a Shadow Demon expansion one of these days; it's only a matter of time. I may very well ascend when this happens.

Everything i dislike about thew new* trilogy:

Ep1:
Darth Maul got zero character and only lives because of his edgelord design.
Kiddo Anaking is hella annoying.
The technology is far superior even tho it's a prequel.
Jar Jar Binks and the Gungans.
Midichlorians.
Anakin singlehandedly winning a war by accident.

Ep2:
It feels like it's just one giant fight scene.
Jango Fett is completely wasted, like Boba Fett in the original.
So is Count Dooku.
Geonosians are dumb.

The rest is pretty average.

Ep3:
Count Dooku is wasted, again.
General Grievous is only there to sell merchandise.
The awful love plot between Anakin and Padme with the linkin park dialogue.
NOOOOOOOOOOO
My favorite Jedi dies without accomplishing fucking anything. (Kit fisto)

If i were to rank:

4 5 3 6 2 1

*How do we call that now, now there's an even newer one?

Well, I watched it, and it clearly doesn't suck.

But worse, it's not finished yet!

I never watch animes before they are finished. Can't stand waiting an entire week just to get one single 20 min long episode.

Also have watch 1-5 so far. 3 is easily my favorite. Has everything I want out of Star Wars. Will watch 6 soon and see where it goes.

Why? The old Trilogy is cool and old, basically a dinosaur

anime is not pc games stop

I can watch Anime on my PC. That's enough.

Some bozo neighbour who was building a new fence drove a spike through my phone line so now I have no ADSL until the phone company comes and replaces the entire cable from my house to the street.

The surly tech and his pimply apprentice were here all day trying to find out why it was fucked. When the found the reason the older bloke said "Mate, I'm sorry but this is a fucking nightmare."

Tethered to my mobile phone on piss all data.

Fuck fences.

Gawdam I just realised that the Overwatch mech girl avatars aren't from Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Y'all should be made aware of this shocking revelation, just 'cause.

I enjoyed Just Cause 2 in a mindless blow the shit out of everything way. I used to often take the jet and fly as high as I could and sky dive. That alone was a really satisfying experience for me. The Superman mod was awesome. Unfortunately the story is so bad it's almost offensive. The world is huge but barren and empty. There is no reward or incentive for exploring. The shooting felt weak. I can see why some would not enjoy it. Still, I look forward to Just Cause 3. I hope they have taken the criticism of the previous games to heart.

JC2 lived and died by its focus on pure fun. From movement, to action, to adventure there wasn't anything left on the floor or wasted. It didn't have a great structure, but there were enough moving pieces to really make the act of just playing enough to be engaging, with missions more of a reason to roam than the sole purpose to play. To date I've spent over 40 hours just doing whatever in that game--couldn't really pinpoint what. But it was a blast through and through.

It must also be said that the easter eggs are incredible.

I know I'll be bored after 5 hours or so in JC3, just like my experience in JC2. I'm not getting the game day 1.

Breaking Benjamin frontman, you only listen to Sheila on 7 in your teenage days bruh?

I was barely on my 10 when Sheila on 7 was on their debut.
I listened to Blink and RHCP on my teenage days.

Why the hell do they do stuff like this? The game stands on it's own. Reviews are solid. People are enjoying it. It is selling well. Who gives a damn what some musician thinks?

I agree. Well said. I love the Lost easter eggs.

White Wolf can still license World of Darkness to other publishers

Despite being bought by Paradox

People got cautiously excited when Paradox bought the popular tabletop World of Darkness IP and its creator White Wolf last month. The publisher is known mainly for grand strategy games (developed in-house) as well as their smaller titles by external developers like The Showdown Effect or Magicka.

World of Darkness hasn’t really had much of a presence in videogames bar the late Troika’s fantastic Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines and CCP’s cancelled MMO, so trying to figure out what Paradox have planned for White Wolf has been tricky.

Thanks to an interview for Rock, Paper, Shotgun with White Wolf CEO Tobias Sjögren, we now know that maybe White Wolf and Paradox’s relationship is a bit more fluid that we may have expected it to have been. When asked about whether White Wolf could license their IP to other developers and publishers, he said:

“Like most publishers out there Paradox is specialised and does certain types of games better than anyone else.

But if there is a publisher that is a better fit than Paradox for a product that White Wolf would like to license, we are definitely set to do the deal with that publisher. White Wolf is here to do what is best for Exalted and World of Darkness and the fans who love these properties.”

It’s interesting that Paradox would buy an already established studio and their popular IPs, and then allow them to license the games on to third parties instead of go through their now established channels.

However, it’s also a good, low-risk move: Paradox might not want to take the risk on more ambitious titles like Bloodlines was when it came out, and so they can still make a tidy sum just by licensing the IP out to others. Plus it allows them to build up some more awareness for the IP in a way that doesn’t require the company to throw their own development studio at it all the time.

This statement doesn’t necessarily mean anything is currently ready to be announced though, so don’t go getting your hopes up. When asked about whether anything like CCP’s canned MMO would happen again, Sjögren said:

“It is too early in the process and we currently don’t comment on any product strategies.”

Bummer.

Still, it’s nice to know that White Wolf have relative autonomy following the acquisition. As awesome as a Paradox developed Crusader Kings-style Vampire: The Masquerade would be, there are still lots of people eager for some sort of a continuation to Bloodlines.

Well that's lazy of them.

More like they don't have the resources or budget to do it, since officially making the mode would need way more QA and polish than what you got with the mod for JC2.

Instead, what they're doing is making it easier for modders to be ready on day one. It's the right move in this situation.
