(My first Steam Sale) What is going on? Is this all the daily and flash sales again? So what's the point of the first time they're up? Also, is this the end of the sale, no new daily or flash sales right?

How is Neptunia Re;Birth1? Never played a game in the series before.

Disclaimer: I only played 2 hours of it so far.

Combat wise it's as 3d turn based rpg where your characters have a limited circle of movement per turn in which you can set up your party in a formation like the usual tanks up in front and the healer/support in the back. Using items and transforming like usual jrpg stuff too. It has a persona like system where if you initiate a battle with a monster in the dungeon map first then you get the first move in the battle.

Out of combat there are the usual item shops, and upgrades you can get when you level up your characters. It goes without saying the dialogue/art in the game is heavy on the anime and game references, but if you like that sort of thing then it is definitely a game you should pick up.

It has a "rebirth" system where you can apparently change certain dungeon modifiers, but 2 hours in and I still don't know how to use it.

I have to wonder how many sales they missed out on due to not being featured on the front page as a daily/flash. I'm thinking of not getting it now just due to waiting throughout the sale for it to be a daily/flash and it end up not being one. Could have bought it at the beginning and not dealt with the wait. >_>

I'd go with The Talos Principle which is excellent. I hated The Evil Within and was pretty indifferent to Ethan Carter and Transistor.

If you like puzzle games Talos Principle is excellent, if you're not feeling that right now I'd go with Ethan Carter + Transistor + Child of Light personally. Dat value.

Because that's the point of actual sale, this is for the customers who may have missed games they wanted either due to not being around or other issues they had to sort out. Also the encores are usually a list of the most popular deals (made possible by the data gathered from the initial sale periods).

What's even worse is that Namco doesn't put the season pass for the DX9 version on sale. At this point I've learned my lesson: Don't buy Dark Souls until you're sure they aren't re-releasing it two years later.

Last Survivor and Crew Expendable, both let you play out sections of the original Alien movie as Ellen Ripley. The rest of the DLCs are survivor mode maps.
