Okay, this pisses me off so goddamn much. So I own BioShock Infinite and X-Com Enemy Unknown. I see that those games are on sale on Steam. Hey great! Infinite is only 7,49 and EU is only 4,99, that must mean I can pick up the awesome DLC for a decent price, right!
WRONG!
Seriously, what the fuck is this? The base game gets a bigger discount than the DLC? The DLC COSTS MORE than the whole game? Who came up with that idea?
Hell, EU has a Complete pack, that actually costs less than when you just want the DLC:
Why do you insist on screwing me over publishers? I buy your game, and now that I want the DLC during a sale you want me to pay more than when I would buy the base game itself? This even puts me off of buying certain games too, like AC4, which costs 7,99 or 11,99 (deluxe with more DLC), has a 7.99 season pass and 12,70 of additional content. There is no way in hell that the full game is worth less than the DLC stuff.
The only saving grace this sale was Hitman Absolution, which sold all of its DLC for 1,09.
