Only behind Helldivers 2's peak of 447,193 CCU in overall performance.

(Stellar Blade is listed under a slightly different name for PlayStation Publishing, so that's why it's not listed among the other games).
53,728 now.

At 56,724 CCU now, surpassing Horizon Zero Dawn's peak of 56,557 CCU.

Last update from me for now, will be nice if some mod could update the thread title for #5 instead of #6.

It has a good chance becoming the highest playstation studios single player game in terms of ccu.
Also happy to see that a good pc port gets rewarded with good reviews. It will go down a bit but I think it might end up at 90%+

I played for an hour. The beginning is kind of boring and I have already played it twice thanks to the demo. I guess my demo save did not transfer.

Lower than AC Shadows?

Now that you bring it up, it's actually crazy that this new IP/new developer release, coming out over a year after its console counterpart, is going to surpass the CCU of the newest entry of one of the most expensive and well known IPs on the planet that launched day-and-date on Steam.

Thought I'd end up getting this but I couldn't even finish the demo because I found it to be incredibly boring. Maybe the game gets better later.

Image quality was also horrible, no matter the settings, and the camera/fov were way too narrow though that may be fixable with UUU.

Stellar Blade is pulling numbers like it's a non exclusive launch day game. 65k is pretty damn great even as a non late launch game since it's not one of those very expensive AAA games. So the fact that a late launch game like this could get this much speaks volume especially when late launch game usually gets around 20k to 50k ccu.

Higher than Horizon Zero Dawn is actually crazy, considering that this is not a normie type of game. Not only because of the game itself (new IP, unknown devs, etc) but the genre, hack and slash, being very niche. The best seller is Devil May Cry, but that's a 3-gen-old saga.

I think it's more than a hack and slash though. It's got some Devil May Cry elements, some Soulslike elements, and some Nier elements.

It's kind of it's own thing.

Its going to go a 100k ccu.

Partly because its not region blocked. Tshishima would have reached 150k had they not region blocked at the last minute.

What an uneccesary waste of million and millions of dollar by sony the genius who started region blocking. A single million could set a person up for life.

It's almost like... people like playing fun games with non-ugly main characters that aren't trying to push an agenda, strange no?
Yep and even not counting the sexy elements, this game has amazing art, gameplay, music, and interesting enemy designs. The Naytiba as a enemy faction are some of the coolest designed monsters out there.

Almost 72k now and it's still climbing (was at 70.2k 10 minutes ago). I estimated 75k+ over the weekend, but this has a chance to do twice as much. Like most Europeans (sleeping), Asians and Australians (working) aren't playing this game right now.

I picked it up. Playing now.

I played the demo on PS5 and the frame rate wasn't consistent. I decided to wait for the PC port. I'm glad I did. Playing on a QHD monitor with a 5800x3d and 9070 XT, I'm getting 1% lows over 100fps.

I'm happy for people that are stoked but it's hard to not see this as anything more than just some gooner game considering all the mods and then some, lmao.

I assume Chinese players wont start gathering on for another 6 hours or so... so in 6 hours that CCU number should jump quite a bit, if I'm not mistaken.

The game deserves so much success with its beauty and excellent combat in Ps5. To be honest, I hope it stayed exclusive to Ps5 but it is what it is. Enjoy PCMR :messenger_beaming:

I will get the dlc for ps5 probably July or August after my DS2.

Not surprised, the game will do big numbers in Asia. Top selling title on Steam in Taiwan these past days. And just reached 86.000 CCU.

Still climbing and its only Wednesday 😮

gamers are hungry and horny after being fed ugly gender confused androgynous characters for years

Way more than that, it's also actually a great game so combined with attractive characters and you get a very appealing game. It's more of a came for the looks but stayed for everything else. Gameplay, music, art, monster design and setting are all very good. It's not even that much of a goon game since things like that Dead or Alive Bleach Vollyball thing and those countless Steam porn games are the true goon types and I'll never be interested in those nor would most people cause they got nothing else going for them.

Attractive characters are definitely a big plus but I mostly like the lore and setting even more. The whole army of Super Soldiers sending down to fight extremely powerful biological monsters that keeps on evolving makes for a pretty interesting starting point and they got some of the coolest monster designs out there. Also looking forward to the sequel a lot with what Part 1 left off.

Bet you at least 60% (and this is being extremely generous) of those buying the game on pc is for goon specific reasons only. They're upgrading from rule34 to Stellar Blade-Nexus.

The highest Sony to Steam Late launch game ever as far as peak CCU goes and we still don't know the peak of Stellar Blade yet

Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart - 8k CCU
Final Fantasy VII Remake - 14k CCU
Final Fantasy XVI - 27K CCU
Spiderman 2 - 28k CCU
God of War Ragnarok - 35k CCU
The Last of Us 2 - 30k CCU
The Last of Us - 36k CCU
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth - 40k CCU
Horizon Forbidden West - 40k CCU
Horizon Zero Dawn - 56k CCU
Spiderman - 66k
God of War - 73k CCU
Ghost of Tsushima - 77k CCU - former highest Sony to Steam title holder and has now been dethroned by Stellar Blade
Stellar Blade - 86K CCU and still going

Keep in mind that Stellar Blade also cost 3 to 6 times lower budget than most of them besides Ratchet and Clank and GoT which only costed 81 million to around 60 million but still higher budget than some of those above that cost around 200 to 300 million budgets.

Stellar Blade is doing way beyond expectations with this CCU as a late launch game, a lower AAA budget game at around 50 million, and as a new franchise, and at full price even as a late launch title on Steam. So it's crazy how it's able to be this high. I first thought it'll be around Rebirths.
