From what I recall it's another divisive series in general. Half are of the opinion it's great and the other half point out all it's flaws in writing and animation and consistency.
I was of the impression that most people here hated it if I'm honest.

Huh. I really liked the first episode.
I wonder if anyone will be doing the recap series. I dunno if they will add anything or not.

Yeah I got the impression that it was really popular with many communities too.

Hmm well I need to check this song out.

You really should

I can totally understand that people don't like Psycho-Pass for some of the stuff that happens later, but it's weird to drop it in the middle of the first episode. Let alone just looking at the first half of said episode and thinking of it as terrible.

They spoke about new footage. Plus: Psycho-Pass had 22 episodes a 20~25 minutes, while the new edit version will have 11 episodes a 60 minutes.

Lolololololol Snake Plissken anime. Production IG was apparently working on it and she has no idea why they canceled it. They don't even remember what happened to it. Hilarious

I enjoyed Psycho-Pass despite some rage moments I had. Urobutcher gonna be Urobutcher. So I am looking forward to season 2.

Holy shit, why didn't this happen?

First OP

Second OP (it helps that it's one of my favorite bands ever, they did better songs though but whatever)

Yo I really like these. I prefer the second OP song though. Going to go watch this soon.

Probably the same people that like the Transformers movie.

Saw the new one, and well there were loud noises also some explosions.

From my own (most likely incorrect) memory I recall KanaHana being a new recruit to a department which she'd spent a while studying for and being utterly incompetent at her job even for the most basic tasks. Granted there's something to be said of the shock between ideal versus reality but I couldn't buy it.
I wasn't particularly a fan of the main premise of the device that analyses people's mental state either.

I liked Psycho-Pass (but I pretty much marathoned it months after it had already aired), but not enough to cheer for it.

I will watch the second season though, and I might watch the hour long recap series if it adds anything.

No Game No Life 09

Interesting visuals in this episode. Nice break from all the pastel colors too.

Some Shiro backstory and new allies gained then.

Oh right. I hope the new footage are not 10 seconds of Akane eating toast in every episode.

Hehe

Valvrave is getting a bluray release from Aniplex America. The set is the 1st season. Preorder begin on Monday and will come out in September. It's expensive (should be $120 at Right Stuf and MSRP is $149.99)
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/new...ve-the-liberator-1st-season-on-blu-ray/.76317

If it was the full series i'd consider it, but at that price for only half the series...

Well, VVV isn't worth that much to me as far as my value in the series goes right now. Maybe next tax return or something.

This year all my money is basically going towards Monogatari, KLK, and Yamato releases. Sprinkle some shorter series in there too and whatever I go nuts with at holiday shopping season.

Akane gets better.
And you're not the only one who don't like the premise - a lot of people inside the show don't like it either. This actually is the main topic of plot.

Sounds like Sentai will give us TV Crowds and not BD Crowds

Wait what?

Pre-order cancelled if so.
Yep, they confirmed they have no plans to release the director's cut of the last episode. Immense disappointment, and I likely will cancel my preorder.
I say likely because I'm torn between my hate for Sentai's decision and my love for Rui.

Overall I think I've been left cold by the AX announcements today. Sentai didn't announce anything I'd consider buying, and all Aniplex announced was Valverave which I have no interest in.

At least there's still tomorrow!

Me too.

And for Aniplex, well, i'm waiting on their Nisekoi releases. They said they're doing a home video release in the press release when it came out.

Makoto Uno draws very good healthy woman/milf ero-manga.

I'll let that sink in.

Seems so, but I dunno if I like how they adapted the art for the redhead. In the novels she looks fantastically cute but the anime version seems a bit meh.

Oh wow... some of the new SOS entries....

I should probably should put a NSFW warning as well, for those that are willing to look.

SOS...yeah. Im in there somewhere hehee. See if you can find me.

Waiting at Oculus booth. I hope it's a Miku porn.

Oculus is there? Oh thats neat!

Oh my god
This technology will take Hinako on a new level.

I was thinking that exact thing when he mentioned watching her sleep.

So I need to buy Chaika, Log Horizon, Yuushibu, and maybe Noucome.

Nice. Yuushibu uncensored is supposed to be more fun from what i've seen too. Decent fanservice for the show it is.

Any chance for more Space Dandy after this season?

Sort of asked, he completely dodged.

-Watanabe and Minami kept in touch about possible projects.
-Satake auditioned for Honey initially. Watanabe said she wasn't sexy enough.
-Minami said pictures(animation) are way better than Season 1.
-CN decided to air this last October.
-Animators around the world wanted to work with Watanabe due to Cowboy Bebop
-Minami planned Space Dandy and had to find partners. Role of producer does everything.
-Satake's favorite episode was 13. Loved to work with Hirano.

I dont know what this means.

Is the Order a Rabbit? END - Little bummed about this show. Didn't really seem to go anywhere. Was hoping for a bit more exposition, just a little too directionless for me tastes. It had its cute/funny moments, but I never really felt invested on what was going on. At the start of the show I was concerned that Tippy was just going to be a Dera-chan analogue, but in fact Tippy was tragically underused in the show.

One Week Friends END - Eleven good episodes, then kind of a flat ending. I was concerned that the idea of a character losing her memories every week would lead to tedium in having to "start over" all the time, but the show handled it well. It never felt like it dragged on, but at the same time I thought the last episode wrapped up too easily. Also, Shogo is great.

Back to my earlier comment about anime not having very good endings..

No Game No Life 08

AnimeGAF at the start of last week.

And Duckrolls reaction.

Some kind of video games exists in this world too then. The knowledge from last episode gets put to use and the world glitches out so much it even affects the ED.

Oh, and desu.

This episode was greeeeeeeeeeeat!
So mofuwa. Hnnnng

Whats the directors cut? How different is it?

I'm watching Full Metal Panic and shouldn't Sagara been kicked out of school on Day 1?

Nah. He kind of has clearance from the govt to protect Chidori at all costs. Though he pulls osme really stupid stunts, especially in Fumoffu.

Sword Art Online 23

Man, a lot of nice animation in this one. The animation was as good as the drama was bad.

thanks for tweeting the goods

It adds around 15 minutes to the final episode. It basically gives the series the resolution it needed, and makes it a complete product. The fact that we're getting stuck with the rushed TV series ending just sucks.

Gundam Build Fighters 1-4

I know I'm way late on this one, but I haven't partaken of Gundam in a while and felt like getting back into it. This one is a change of pace from the standard Gundam anime, but it seems pretty fun so far.

I'm also reading the Gundam Origin volumes that Vertical publishing is putting out of the original Gundam story. Enjoying that immensely.

Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Episode 12

Reiji is epic incarnate, I want his deck but it seems like itd be terribly hard to construct, how do you even fit
XYZ Summon, Synchro Summon, Fusion Summon into one deck!? If he even does ritual and pendulum summoning, than wow

I see. that does kinda suck but I didnt mind the way it ended on the CR version, whatever that was.

Would this mean the TV broadcast will be the entire series that's on the disc, or just the last episode would be from the TV broadcast? I don't know how these things work. If it's the entire TV broadcast though, I have literally zero reason to buy the bluray.
