Sakura trick for the most part was what Kotaku said it was, a romance about an underrepresented demographic (in terms of an actual romance that doesn't turn into porn). The two main characters, as well as their friends were legitimately finding love and someone they cared about, and were written in a way that made you believe that they wanted to be together and wanted to express their love for their significant other.
What Kotaku got wrong was that the declining birth rate in Japan is leading to more homosexuals, which will cause the country to die out even faster.
But Sakura Trick is just an okay romance with some good characters and a unique art style. Everythings okay and it's a cute show.
UNTIL THE FINAL EPISODE:
The final episode consists of the girl with big tits who wasn't the orange one being confronted about her indifference of being asked out, due to her relationship with the orange loli. They ask her, "Don't you love [the orange loli]?" To which she responds with, "Love? What's that?"
An otherwise cute show is ruined by the shows message that lesbians can't feel love. That's a really cynical way of interpreting the last episode of ST.
She was in love the whole time. She just never realized it until the last episode. I mean you're completely leaving out the scene between the two of them later in the classroom where they confess their love to one another. It's not that she didn't feel love, it's that she never defined what she felt as "love".
