Oh, well I really appreciate the compliment(s) actually. Thanks.

I went out of public school into private in the 3rd grade, then skipped middle school and went into private High school. Some of it is just how I always was as a kid though. I always preferred talking to adults over people my age, since I like learning from other people.

Part of why I like the SBF is I feel like they teach me a lot I just kinda skipped over because of my age.

Hell, soon after I joined, there was like 6 pages of "Hey hey you guys tell me what you think about me" until people started getting sandbagged super hard.
I missed out then because no one knew who the fuck my narcissitic ass was, but there hasn't really been a big one of those since then.
I've actually never been analyzed by anyone besides myself on the thread so far, and I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to when it happens, or just scared of finding out people know I'm a self-absorbed shitfraud.

Fair enough, I mean sometimes people don't need to hear the whole truth, there is a time and a place for blunt honesty I think. But it can be hard to find the middle ground and you occasionally end up doing much more harm to people than you intended.

You're an amusing person though.

It feels like disappointing our collective dad because of all the maturity you have, and because it never really feels like you're partaking in our shenanigans so much as overseeing them. It's why there's a running joke of *Xiraiya is disappointed* in the thread. Although the other part of that is because you tell us you're disappointed a lot(though you've stopped recently)

The only friction around here I've seen is from times when you're teasing and people think you're serious, or your straightforwardness/honestly seems brutal, maybe due to effective word choice with the simplicity of your statements.

I always preferred to talk to adults as well. I find that pretty funny because we are relatively close in age and I am at a private high-school myself.

I generally got along with people older than me as well until I reached a certain age as a teenager and realized adults were really just like any other teenager who sometimes didn't know what they were doing, they just had experience to make that less obvious, but mentally they could easily be on par or sometimes even less than a teenager, which is something people forget I think.

It was a little unsettling realizing that truth at first, but then at some point it's like "Well this just means I can be one of those people haunted by their upbringing and blame adults even when I'm like 40 something, or I can be someone who realizes that people are flawed at any age and try to be better than that."

Well it was mostly when I was pretty young that I exclusively sought to talk adults, now it's more about finding people who's opinions I can respect in general. Though adults still tend to be a lot less prone to random stupidity due to becoming more set in their ways/complacent.

I draw a pretty big distinction between friends I can respect and just any friends I have. The former end up being the people I actually really enjoy the company of, and the vast majority of the people in this community fit that, actually.

Gintama has a lot of really good perspectives on the world and people in general that I can relate to strongly and covers stuff that anime really usually doesn't do in ways that does justice.

It's a shonen series with rad stuff and dumb stuff but is actually an insanely clever when you look at it from different angles that are easy to overlook.

I remember this one time when I was younger I was at a park and then my cousin came to get me because this guy came to the park to threaten people with a gun and I'm like 'nah he doesn't have a gun, he's just joshing you all.' And then I heard a gunshot and then I'm like 'yeah we should probably leave.' It was a fun experience, I enjoyed my time at the park.

My town's generally a calm Inaba-like place despite it's size and the rundown buildings in certain parts. Sometimes we get some dumb shit like someone threatening to bomb the High School or some arsonists trying to burn down apartments and succeeding like one out of four times. But whatever, it's usually a really calm place. It's not very quiet though, people like blasting their music while driving or revving their motorcycles.

Me and my friend always have the same argument about Dark Souls that comes down to her saying "I have no patience and I hate redoing a level when I die because I don't see what's worth going through these levels for".

The closest I can get to that are the conatant drug use and semi-regular knife fights that went on in a park down the street from my high school.

I'd like to say that Prison school is kind of the same. You wouldn't normally think that I would read stories like this ( I mean you would, but not poeple I know in real life) You might see it as "porn", but it's much better then you could imagine at first sight.
You know what? I think I'll give the first episode of Gintama a shot today.

I didn't mean to, I told her about it being one of my favorite game like 2 years ago, she played DkS2 next to her boyfriend and hated the health punish for hallowing and refused to use a consumable capped out at 50% max and was banging her head against the wall getting oneshotted.

I told her to play 1 instead after and she liked it better, but she still keeps bringing this up out of nowhere if I tangentially mention Bloodborne coming out.

D-did they just add Lady and Trish to DMC4 SE? Now the only thing they have to do is give a free gameplay mode where anybody can play anyones missions and maybe give Dante a new weapon or two.

That's yet to be confirmed. We don't know if Vergil will have his own minicampaign, or go through the entirety of the campaign solo.

We know Lady and Trish will just replace the player character in the campaign, but we don't know if they'll swap out for the entirety or just for Nero's section or Dante's section respectively.

I think I saw a gaf post that said each character will get their own opening and closing movie. But that was the extent of it.

Well I can kinda sympathize, health hallowing backs you into a corner with limited use consumables. Eventually you're just ruined. She didn't have the Cling Ring equivalent either.

Hopefully Gloria will be a extra boss. Also, I want Vergil to have his own levels. But I was actually okay with how he was handled in DMC3 without him being limited to only 6-7 missions like DmC Vergil was.

That's all we know. They could have an opening and closing movie for the campaign, or they could have an opening and closing movie for each section. I'd much prefer an entire campaign, but I'm just looking at different possibilities.

I guess it's closer to the fact that most games punishment for dying...is well dying and being sent back to the last checkpoint. Dark Souls punishment is losing your souls, your health ect.

It's like a fighting game having a fatigue meter that builds everytime you get hit. That will leave you wide open for an attack. Despite the fact that you probably need help if you're getting your shit pushed in, not more punishment.
